  The staff at the store are not knowledgeable about basic aspects of the Best Buy business, and at least the lead people in the Geek Squad and the manager should be knowledgeable. I purchased a new HP laptop from the Best Buy website assuming it came with a HP manufacturer’s warranty. The hinge on the screen broke 6 weeks after purchase, so I returned to Best Buy for HP warranty service. Best Buy informed me that the laptop’s warranty expired in 2022, so I would need to pay for any repairs. They also advised me that they did not sell me the laptop, a reseller sold me the laptop. Even though it came from the Best Buy website, they took no responsibility for the device or educating me on any requirements they place on their resellers relative to maintenance on new laptops. Since the laptop was under warranty in 2022, I concluded that the reseller had stiffed me with a used laptop, so I left it with Best Buy for repair. What the Geek Squad needed to tell me was that their resellers provide their own forms of warranty, so I should not leave it for them to repair at my cost. I should contact the reseller to understand their terms of warranty. By the time I figured all this out on my own, it was too late to save the money on an expensive repair on a 6-week-old new laptop.

  Walking into this place is very dangerous, they're are wet leaves in front of both doors and it is slippery, the wet leaves also trail into the store. meanwhile 3 employees just standing doing nothing about it.

  Bought a iPhone here a month ago just for it to have 80% battery expectancy and the screen to turn green forever ….. this Best Buy is a scam and I don’t recommend buying literally anything here ! Just order from Amazon or Apple !

  Bought a tv with a protection plan about a week in a half ago. The tv was damaged when purchased which caused more damage after assembly. I called Best Buy customer service and explained the situation and they said to simply return the tv and it could be exchanged. Upon arrival at customer service at Best Buy they refused to exchange it. Couldn’t even get my information which the lady I spoke to on the phone was able to get in a couple seconds. The costumer service lady in store was awful. Wouldn’t recommend. If I could leave negative stars i would.
