100% identical to all the problems in the last store over in Setauket. Completely lacking in meaningful stock and prices are ALWAYS the highest price offered by any business.
Can’t leave out the membership fees you have to buy for if you want to return items outside their unreasonable window

I recently visited this Best Buy to purchase a SSD I saw the same one on Amazon for $20 less so I went to the counter to price match it took him quite a while I'm not sure if he was just reluctant or something else but I had the Amazon website up and it was clear to see finally after 20 minutes he recruited the help of another employee he did the price match in less then two minutes. Considering the tens of thousands of dollars I have spent in Best Buy over the years I think a $20 price match would've been a lot smoother but I guess it's my fault I could've just ordered it from Amazon which would of came the next day.

So Best Buy now has a policy where they will only return things within 15 days of purchase. I bought a Rode microphone and I wasn’t told about this change. When I purchased it, the cashier clearly told me I had 30 days to return the item. Best Buy isn’t doing well so they are attempting to sell a 50$ per month membership for the chance to return items past the 15 days mark.
It’s unfortunate Best Buy doesn’t care for the people buying their products. I’m going to make sure to Boycott Best Buy and tell everyone I know to as well. Really disappointing.

Very poor executive decisions being made. I don't why they even bothered moving from South Setauket to Stony Brook. This location has nothing; little to no inventory with a handful of display show cases. It would of been better to just shut it down entirely or move to a location that made sense in terms of lease affordability and storage.
