Joe sat with me for over two hours, carefully troubleshooting my issue step by step, even though he knew from the start that he wouldn’t be earning any commission from helping me. He never rushed me, never brushed me off, and never made me feel like my problem wasn’t worth his time. Joe was incredibly attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in trying to find a solution. Even though we ultimately weren’t able to fully resolve the issue, that had nothing to do with his effort or competence. He did everything he possibly could and went above and beyond what anyone should reasonably expect from a retail associate. Unfortunately, my experience with Verizon as a company has been the complete opposite. I had just come from another Verizon location where I was told they “don’t do that here” and was offered no help at all. Verizon clearly has serious systemic issues, limitations, and poor internal processes that make even simple problems unnecessarily difficult to fix.
