  Last week, I went in person to the Chili Cricket store with my 76-year-old friend—and the way we were treated was absolutely unprofessional. From the moment we walked in, the woman at the counter gave us that look—you know the one. The “you’re wasting our time” kind of stare. No greeting, no assistance, just pure attitude. And get this—she’s a manager in training. If that’s the future of leadership at this store, then I genuinely feel bad for anyone walking in hoping for real help. We were there because my friend’s account showed the wrong devices—iPhone SEs instead of her iPhone 14 and iPhone 12. I had already verified the IMEI numbers didn’t match. I even took her phone to Best Buy, where they ran a full Apple diagnostic and confirmed everything was fine. But when I mentioned that to the staff at the Chili location, the rep just brushed us off and told us “Best Buy doesn’t do that anymore.” Excuse me? I literally just came from there. She didn’t even try to understand—just dismissed us completely. When I told her scammers might be using the second line and that it needed to be disabled for safety, she again acted like it wasn’t her problem. No investigation. No urgency. Just cold deflection. I’m not impressed with your slogans or corporate training. I care about competence and respect. And if that’s how your manager in training behaves, then your store has deeper issues. Honestly, I could do her job better—and I’m not even trying to be arrogant. I just care more. Also, let’s talk about the $10 eSIM charge. That’s a scam. It’s a code—nothing physical. Visible Wireless gives that for free, and that’s exactly where we’re going. Cricket used to be worth it. Now? It’s a mess.
