    The line is always long and I was treated very poorly by an employee there yesterday when I was shopping to buy a TV. The employee I think his name was Brian was very rude and he was mocking the picture I showed him of my old TV I had on my phone and he said “That TV looks like it was found in a dumpster.” Very disrespectful. He needs to be nice and learn how to treat people with respect and dignity.

    I purchased a Best Buy gift card online for a friend who lives out of state. She could not find the email. I endeavored to resend the gift card via the Best Buy website. This purchase was not listed on my account. I called BB customer service: they could not locate the gift card order. (Order # was included in the BB gift card emails.) They said it was because I was not signed in: I am automatically signed in on the BB website. They said I used a different email: I used the email associated with my BB account. Finally I was told to contact the third party sending me the gift card emails. I noticed a link in the gift card email that said "Customer Service." I thought I was talking to customer service! The link brought me back to the BB website to a page where I can manage the gift card. Why so much trouble? Why is the purchase not on my BB account? So, BB wants the gift money but throws you to the 3rd-party dogs when there's a problem. This is how much they care about their customers. Will never buy a gift card from Best Buy again.

    Unacceptable Repair Delays and Poor Communication from Best Buy I purchased a Pioneer 55″ Class LED 4K UHD Smart Xumo TV from Best Buy less than a year ago. When it stopped powering on, I first brought it to the Poughkeepsie store on January 2 and received it back by January 13. Unfortunately, the TV still did not power on at home, so I returned it to the store the same day (Service Order #0460-260113-40775, Serial #XUHR1VA004107). Since it was still under the manufacturer’s warranty, Agent Josh checked it in and informed me it would be sent to the New York service center. For over ten days, the status remained stuck on “Check In – We’re getting your device ready to ship.” I had to call on January 24 to push them to finally ship it. A tracking number was then provided (S100774343), but the status has since been frozen on “In Transit” with no actual movement shown. UPS has no record of this shipment. It is now the end of January—more than two weeks since I dropped off the TV. When a friend checked three days ago, they were still told it was “in transit.” This morning I stopped by Best Buy and spoke with store manager Mo, who claimed it had arrived at the service center but had not yet been checked in. This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating. What should have been a straightforward warranty repair has turned into weeks of delays, misleading updates, and poor communication. The service system at Best Buy has clearly failed in this case, and I will hesitate to purchase from them again.
