Horrible customer service. I was told I needed to return my trade in phone to the Verizon center I bought it from… in Florida, 6 years ago. Then the guy went back to watching his movie on his phone.

I had an awful and disgusting experience with Rahul Suryavanshi. He was extremely lazy did not want to help me and told me he couldn’t verify my account because my physical id was expired. This felt racially charged as the other people in store were not asked for id. I had to give him access to my account and verified via phone yet he was still telling me he couldn’t verify the account because my Id was expired absolute nonsense. Prior to this I explained I was grieving the loss of a parent who I shared an account with. This man had 0 empathy and no interest in doing his job i was even more shocked to see he is a manager. An absolute disgrace to lead a store! Extremely unprofessional in dialogue and overall a very nasty human being. Because of him I will be terminating my account with verizon after 15 years. This man is not fit to lead a store absolutely 0 customer service skills or knowledge of his Job.

The service at Verizon is a disaster. There are many traps and misleading statements in their service. Very simple things end up taking a lot of time. I just needed to pick up a router for Wi-Fi service.
The online customer service representative first told me that I could go to the store because they had the router. However, when I went there the first time, the in-store staff told me they didn’t have it and that it would be available the next day at 12:30. When I came again, he said the number of routers was limited and that I should come exactly at 12:30. Besides, in-store man said I did not make router order, I should talk to online customer. But online customer never mention this. I feel like I was being messed with.

I usually have very frusturating and awful experiences with Verizon reps in the past but Sergey Yazvenko is by far and away the best rep I've ever worked with at Verizon (or at any other company I've had to deal with e.g. Delta!)
He answered all my complicated/confusing questions between devices, exchanges/swaps, upgrades, etc, knew exactly what I needed, and got it done.
Also gave me the best advice on plans to save money, get the best bang for my buck or make everything easy.
Thanks!
