PLEASE DONT COME HERE!!! my cat died right after our vet visit. apparently he was just anemic. $700 of medications and antibiotics just for my poor suffering baby to pass away. you guys are horrible at your jobs.

I have been looking for a vet since I moved an hour south of my hometown, and they all had 6-12 month wait lists. (I would then call at the 6-7 month mark, they’d tell me they are still not accepting new patients, and we even ended up having to take a few trips to the emergency vet, each at $600-$900 a pop.) My dog is almost 10, and the 2 hour round-trip with the added “stranger stress” was becoming too much for her…and then, last week as I was making an appointment at the location an hour away, I noticed that her former vet was a VCA vet…and they have almost 900 locations across the country, including one just 20 minutes away! A literal godsend! They could have gotten her in the next day, but I was afraid, especially after all the ER trips, that I would have to wait until payday to book an appt (and I was also simultaneously stressed out about her prognosis, after too many WEBMD- type searches, that I almost crashed my car on the way to her appointment from my uncontrollable shaking- simply because: dog-mom struggles, the economy, and a bi-weekly pay cycle)…well SHAME ON ME!- I walked in the door and was warmly greeted by the beautifully polite staff, and immediately felt 150 times better- (I really wish I was in the headspace to catch everyone’s names, so I could personally thank them). I was also scared that the veterinarian would scold me for my older pup’s weight, new lumps and bumps, and not getting her checked out sooner, but she actually made me feel like a good dog-mom. She also made my little girl feel more at ease with a few treats (she obviously loves them, as she is basically a potato) and even made light-hearted jokes about how diets are the worst, and then reassured me that she’s in overall good health, quickly diagnosed her “lady issues”, (despite my pup’s literal SWAN DIVE off of the table), and sent us home with so much reassurance and all the meds we need to help her- ALL for a literal 3rd of the cost of the emergency vet…We have a follow-up in 2 weeks, and I will definitely not be a nervous wreck next time. 1000% recommend. Thank you all for your time and incredible work! Truely the best vet experience I have ever had!

Only after going to a new vet did we find out our dogs have many issues that should have been found by Shaker! Heart, lung and teeth issues that were never mentioned to us! Zero stars.

I brought my cat here for teeth issues and from the first appointment to the surgery day I thought the staff was soooo nice, helpful and very compassionate. They made me feel comfortable about my cats care throughout the whole process and didn’t feel like they got frustrated with all my annoying questions and were happy to help and understanding of my concerns. When I picked my cat up for surgery they sent me home with a diary of how her surgery day went with details and pictures of the process. Thank you to the staff and Dr. Patrick for taking such good care of my baby.
