I came into Verizon to switch my service and was told the process would be simple, but it ended up taking over 2 hours. When I first walked in, I clearly said I wanted the $25 per line deal for 5 phones with the free iPhone 17 Pro. I was initially told the Pro was not part of the promotion, until I showed them the deal online, and then suddenly it was included. I was then offered two months of “free” phone insurance and other perks, and I agreed since it was free. Unfortunately, once I received my first bill, I discovered I was being charged for all of them: $68/month for phone insurance $10/month for Travel Pass $10/month for Netflix $10/month for Hulu/Disney/ESPN That’s $108 per month in so-called “free perks.” I give the 2 stars because at the very least I did get my lines switched over and they eventually honored the promotions once I showed evidence that it was available online.

Awful. Got there at 5:15 pm- 2 people ahead of us- by 7:00 pm we were still waiting. Store closes at 8- at 7pm they are still checking people in to wait. They had NO intention of helping us that night. None! 3 staff members asking all people waiting if they had checked in? Really? I will never go to that store again.

Update: After posting my original review, the store commented asking me to fill out a form so they could “make things right.” I completed the form right away and never heard back from anyone. No follow-up, no acknowledgement, nothing. At this point, I’m beyond disappointed. The customer service issues I described earlier clearly aren’t being addressed, and the lack of response just confirms it. I’ll be telling my friends and family to avoid this location completely. There are other Verizon stores—like the one I’m now going to—that treat customers with respect and actually follow through. My husband and I recently visited this Verizon store because we were thinking about switching from AT&T. We weren’t ready to make the move that day — we just wanted more information. The representative who helped us, a woman wearing a hijab, was extremely pushy and kept trying to sell me the new iPhone even after I explained multiple times that we weren’t switching that day and that I didn’t want the new phone. We eventually decided to switch to Verizon the following week. The process went okay overall, but she didn’t take the time to explain things to us, and I ended up giving in and getting the new iPhone. That meant I had to wait a few days for the phone to arrive. When we went back the next Friday to cancel streaming services and remove insurance, she came up to us and said, “What are you doing here?” — which I thought was very rude. She then told us she had been planning to waive our activation fees and that we should’ve come back to her for that. She never mentioned that before. She told us she only works weekends and to come back the next Friday so she could take care of it. When we came back the next week, she again said, “What are you doing here?” I reminded her of what she had told us, and she claimed it should have already been fixed and to just check our bill. We went back and forth, and I asked to speak with a manager. She disappeared to the back for about 10–15 minutes. While waiting, we noticed the fees were indeed being waived, but I still wanted to speak to a manager about her attitude. While waiting, I also spoke with another customer who said they were unhappy with the service too — apparently another employee told her, “Then do it,” when she said she was thinking of switching carriers. When the manager finally came out, I explained how I’d been addressed and treated. The representative denied saying those things, even though there were multiple witnesses. Overall, I don’t recommend working with her at all. She seriously needs customer service training — being dismissive, rude, and dishonest is not how you treat paying customers.
