I cannot offer enough praise to the entire staff at East Islip Animal Hospital. My cat very suddenly became ill and I was a nervous wreck. Shannon, Rich, Amanda, Jeanette, Graciela and everyone did an incredible job of not only educating me on how to treat my beloved pet, but offered the compassion and understanding that went above and beyond. They are there for you every step of the way. I’m so happy to have found a doctor and staff who offer constant support

Called because my mother-in-law’s dog died suddenly. Staff were so kind on the phone. Private cremation was such a great price, compared to other vet offices I’d called. Came in & was treated with empathy & respect. I felt guided through the whole process. And they treated our old doggo with respect. What a beautiful experience! So glad we went with them.

This building is not immediately noticed in traffic and the parking lot is very small (maybe 4-5 cars). Inside is clean and the staff is friendly and professional. I waited about 25 min. before being seen with my 2 Terrier's. The vet is always pleasant and professional, but all we needed was a kennel cough vaccine and refill on heartworm meds. I was told they must have an exam again otherwise they could not get the vaccine. Cost $ 73.00 each ($ 120.00) which I felt was Unnecessary since they both had full exams LESS than a year ago.!
Then they would not refill our heartworm without first doing a blood test $ 65.90 each ($ 131.80) which I also thought was Unnecessary SINCE they had been given it every month steadily!. Add the cost of vaccines which is ALL we went for...total WITH a discount $ 368.05 !!!!!!!! Although they are great, they are also quite expensive.
