Was immediately suspicious when the staff member asked me for ID, as I’ve done drop offs for it before and they also take the equipment by mail. I didn’t hand over my ID thankfully because the guy starts pulling up the wrong account and saying my serial number does not match. He told me I need to call Verizon and figure out the problem. I knew there wasn’t one. A woman that worked there got done with a customer and explained what he needed to do (click on advanced search and enter the serial number). He starts doing the same thing he did before and when I corrected him he got agitated, saying I’m over his shoulder. I was in there for twenty minutes as he’s telling me this is something I need to figure out with customer service by phone. The girl finally just came over and did it in two seconds. I don’t mind at all when people are still training or are unsure of something, but don’t tell me I need to go home and figure it out — there’s no shame in not knowing what to do but you need to ask for help. I just moved to the area and have Verizon internet and mobile service but I will not return to that location. Also didn’t appreciate his language.
