I have taken all of my animals to the same vet for the past 27 years a year and a half ago I lost both my two labs a year apart. I couldn’t bring myself to bring my cat to that vet office anymore so I decided to do some research on a new vet and came across VCA animal Hospital in Farmingville. I set up an appointment for my cat in who has been having some urinary issues there I met Dr.KraneBurg Her bedside manner from my sweet kitty was extraordinary. We did some testing and found out that my poor baby had stones in his bladder. She sent me on my way with amoxicillin and some pain medication. Three days later Leah was like a brand new person. Extra cuddly, extra affectionate and smiling from ear to ear She is such a kind, gentle soul and Madison at the front desk was a sweetheart as well. I look forward to bringing Leo back to see all of his new friends as he loved them and they loved him.

I was watching my ex wife's dog while she was with her husband/my son's stepdad while was having a triple bypass. She's very much older(the dog) and fell and tumbled down a flight of stairs and was moaning and bleeding. I picked her up and brought to this hospital, and they couldn't have jumped up quicker...i mean immediately...to take her and basically triage her. I thought the dog was going to die, and I was a mess...and they did so much to try to calm me down. More importantly, they took care of her. She's ok. I will always recommend them. Such very kind, caring and amazing people. Thank you to all of them.

I have been to Four Veterinarians who did nothing for my dogs, but run up exorbitant bills and not be able to help either one of my 2 fur babies with allergy problems. This Incredible Vet, and I say that in such a positive way, changed my perception of what a really great veterinarian is and should be. I am so grateful that I found this practice. All of the people in it are incredibly kind and compassionate in a way that I’ve really never seen at any veterinarian office before… and as I said, I’ve been to four of them!!! I can’t rave enough and I don’t even know if giving them five stars really speaks loud enough. They are thorough in every way!!! So kind, and compassionate beyond words. No, they’re not expensive compared to others!!! I’ve been reading half these reviews about people complaining of their prices and that is absolutely wrong. They are reasonable And provide such thorough care!!! I left the office in tears because of feeling so grateful that I finally found a veterinarian that I believed in and that I knew I could trust to take care of my two fur babies. If you’re in the area and you’re seeking a really good vet to take care of your animals don’t even look any further. VCA Animal Hospital in Farmingville is absolutely top notch!!!! Maybe tonight I can sleep better because I know my two dogs are going to be OK with the care that I know they will have here. I am a very grateful new client of this practice❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I've been coming to VCA for a couple of years now and I will never go anywhere else honestly. Growing up with animals I've experience a decent amount of different vet offices but I've finally found my home. Everyone on the staff is extremely professional, caring and kind. My main doctor is Dr. Gooss and she's the best in the business. I'm an extremely anxious human and my pets are my family. Every time we come in whether it be a check up or a sick appointment I know I can always count on her to give me the best game plan and immediately calm my anxieties. When I don't have the pleasure of seeing her getting to spend some time with my favorite vet assistant Erin always makes me smile. She's incredibly caring, funny, smart, diligent and you can really tell she loves her work and the animals. That's all you can really ask for with a vet. You want them to treat you babies the way you would. I can not express enough how lost I would be without this team and highly recommend to anyone searching for a new place.
