If I could give no stars, I would. I ordered a new phone from Verizon online and pick up was supposed to be confirmed and ready in 2 hours. It’s been 3.5 days and I have not received any communication from the store and they cannot be reached by phone. In order to place a new order, this order has to be canceled and that can take another 3-5 days. It’s ridiculous how they can’t communicate in a timely manner.
If the phone isn’t available, they should say so. Any communication would be better than none.
* update* After discussing it with the nicest Verizon agent via chat, I decided to go to the store to check on the order since the order was still acrive and not able to be canceled for another 3-5 days. I met Christina at the store who was very nice and pushed the order through so I was able to pick up my phone. While I was there, she informed me that there were Black Friday deals being offered and asked if I wanted to add a new line to my account free of charge for 36 months and that she’d even waive the activation fee! I happily agreed and am very happy with the outcome.
While at the store, Brandon assisted me with the new phone number and showed me how to use it as a second line on my phone. He’s very efficient and knowledgeable!
I updated the review to 4 stars bc the store reps were very nice and helpful, but bc of the initial issue surrounding the order and pick up delay of my phone, I couldn’t give them 5 stars.

My experience was convenient and I got the exact help I needed especially thanks to the manager/supervisor of the store for looking out for me even when I got to the store very late and it was about to close I got my 2 devices back up and running and the issues were fixed and I left the store with everything solved

had a very disappointing experience at the Verizon store in Queens Center Mall. The customer service was extremely poor and the staff were disrespectful and unhelpful. Instead of assisting me with my issue, they acted as if I was bothering them and gave me attitude the entire time. I expect much better from a company like Verizon. I left the store feeling frustrated and disrespected — definitely the worst customer experience I’ve had at any Verizon location. I would not recommend this store to anyone.

Where do I even begin? I’d rather give a no star rating but you have to put something on here so here is why this Verizon gets a 1 star rating. My boyfriend and I are both long standing Verizon customers so much so we are on “grandfather plans” my partner and I went in so we could transfer and add my phone to his line and upgrade our phones. Although my partner has a special account due to his work discount we went in waiting for them to help us. As soon as we walked in we checked in and an older gentleman with glasses came over to us . We explained to him what we wanted and told us that we “couldn’t do it in store “ I said what was the reason he said I’d have to call the “transfer of liability “ phone number and that it would have be done on Monday because that department was closed on the weekend. He said it would take long and that I’d have to call them first and then come back after I “get on this call with the liability team “ he said it was like lawyers or something of that nature we both said okay he seemed to just brush us off an wanted us out of the store.
He gave me the impression as though he thought we where trying to scam them or just didn’t even try to help us find a solution. We left out the store and I Ended up calling Verizon’s customer service line and The lovely lady who assisted and assured my boyfriend and I that she would take care of us and transfer my information and upgrade us did Just that. It took us 30 mins on the phone with a live agent to do everything we asked and more when we could have done this in store . The gentlemen in store didn’t even try or give us a solution just told me to call that number and told us the phones we wanted where not even available.
The live agent upgraded our service and shipped us our phone and trade in boxes. It’s a shame that this was the experience we had in store. The Customer Service agent apologized on the store behalf because she said that’s not company standards let alone how anyone should ever be treated. I hope this review is a lesson to learn on bettering the customer experience and treating each customer with respect and understanding an offering a solution. Won’t be coming back to this location even if it is the closest one to me I’d rather go to another location.

Late Saturday night, I ordered a phone for locker pick up at this store location. They open Sunday at 10am. By 3pm Sunday I still was not notified that my order was ready so I wanted to call the store. I called the Verizon 800 number since the store's phone number was not listed online. After a 20 min hold, the phone rep took another 15 mins to ultimately tell me that they also cannot find their phone number and told me that I would have to physically visit the store. I visited the store. 2 employees had no customers and were talking to each other, one greeted me right away. I explained why I was there, he looks at his tablet, finds my order and says "Oh, yes here's your order, I'll prepare it now, I'll have it in a couple minutes". He comes back with the phone quickly. He checks my driver license and confirms my identity but he's having trouble with the locker system. While he ask his manager for help I say I'll go to the food court for a drink. I come back, I sit and wait while he works with his manager. His manager never spoke to me, the manager tells the agent, "Hes gonna have to wait." and leaves. The agent struggles a bit longer with his tablet, grabs the phone and tells me he'll be right back and goes into the back office. He returns and tells me that their system failed and that I'll have to come back tomorrow to get the phone. I explain why this is the worst customer experience I've ever had. He apologizes and asks for my phone number so that they can call me when its ready. Since I dont trust them anymore, I ask for the stores phone number so that I can call like I originally intended to do before their phone agent told me to visit the store. In 2025, in a phone store where we're surrounded by dozens of phones, he tells me that the store doesn't have a direct phone number because of covid. I immediately recognized how ridiculous that was, but I didnt bother arguing because I had to be somewhere. Other customers are hearing this and looking at me as if theyre waiting for me to flip out, but i remain calm although upset. The agent says he would give me his number but hes not working tomorrow. He reads my phone number from his tablet, I confirm and I leave. An hour later, I see the app says my phone was picked up. The next day at noon, i still havent been contacted, I try the chat system this time and get nowhere again but they put in a case for me. After an hour, i get a call from the guy who said he wasnt working today, and he says my order is ready. I visit the store again, 2 other employees are together, I explain to one of them that i got a call to pick up my order and i gave my name. He cant find me in their system. The other employee, while chuckling a bit says to the one whos helping me "yea i think he was here yesterday and the system wasnt working". Then they ask me if a russian guy was helping me. I say i dont know his nationality but he was wearig glasses. The first guy goes and gets my phone and gives it to me without checking my ID. I say to him, "Before I write my review, do you know if Verizon gives any type of offers to customers whove had experiences like mine?". He says id have to take that up with the 800 number. I said ok and left.
