Was mislead with pricing. Was locked into a bill pay contract with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. It has broken 3 times in two years in the area that folds. I'm stuck with a horrible phone and my monthly bill is $145. I'm a barista so it's so difficult to pay for a phone that constantly breaks!

I was told by my representative to go to a Verizon store to ask for the phone program because me and my family had just ported into Verizon within the last two weeks and see if they could help me with swapping one of the phones they gave us to one of our old phones. I went to the one near me and they referred me to go to the corporate store saying that our account was a business one and couldn’t do anything about it so I simply nodded and went on my way. I then went all the way to this corporate store for Verizon and after getting here the female representative that talked to me simply just said, “Oh we can’t do anything here. You would have to call customer service and have to ask for the shipping label, and get them your IMEI and have them do it.” And proceeds to just give me a number that you could find online that will bring you to an AI and have to go in a roundabout way with hours in order to even talk to a representative. I’m just standing here baffled and pissed off because I walked to the nearest Verizon store in this freezing cold weather for 30 minutes thinking that was my only trip needed, to be then referred to the oh so esteemed corporate store, which then just told me to call their customer service number. If they had just told me to do so in the first place I would not be this annoyed and yet they did. My parents and I at this point are fed up with this and now are planning to swap back to our previous service provider that actually has customer service that doesn’t keep referring you to other people constantly. This was already the second time that I had to face this, first time being when I had to port the new phones sent to me myself and every time I called customer service, it sent me to AI and told me I needed to have a Verizon phone number to be authenticated but how can I do that when they told me to make sure it’s ported before I can open the phone? This whole ordeal for the past two weeks is simply horrendous, and if you are planning to possibly swap to Verizon for the deal or something don’t do it, save yourself from this unnecessary stress. Like what’s the use of a corporate store if all you do is refer to an online customer service that barely works after hours of going around for help and can’t do anything yourself.

I just want to say I visited the store on 1/28/25 for an SOS issues with my phone I spoke to Crockett who assisted me but as I observed, every worker was assisting a customer and it was lovely to see everyone working and honestly being so polite. Now my phone issues couldn’t be dealt with due to the 24 hour lock on my account but Mr. Crockett still gave me the info I needed and did his best on 1/29/30 I went to the store again and got everything done and phone activated in about 5 minutes Mr. Crockett is amazing all the workers in this store are amazing honestly I wish all Verizons went off how you guys are with customers. Amazing work to you all and Mr. Crockett thank you.
