  Never called never send a texted message. They said that they were here, I had 5 people waiting for them. They lied and got lazy and cancelled my appointment and rescheduled 3 weeks from now. To make it better, Best Buy has the worse customer service ever. Just don’t buy from them

  Made an appointment for battery service of an iPhone11 a week in advance. When I showed up they told me they didn't have the parts and suggested Id receive better service at an Apple store. At that point it would take me 40 mins to reach an Apple store and none had availability for battery service for rest of the day. When I called the Geek Squad to make a new appointment they could not guarantee theyd have the parts, even if given advance notice. Ive had great experiences with Geek Squad in the past but this one showed some glaring weaknesses and how little they value their customers.

  Geek Squad Nightmare: Lost Data, Unresolved Issues, and Unprofessional Service I entrusted Geek Squad with a seemingly simple task: transferring files from three laptops to an external hard drive. However, this experience turned into a nightmare. Upon receiving my devices back, I was devastated to find that all my data, including irreplaceable photos and documents, had been wiped clean from both the original laptops and the external hard drive. When I contacted Geek Squad, their response was both dismissive and unhelpful. They refused to take responsibility for the lost data or offer a refund. Despite canceling my subscription, I continued to be charged for their services year after year. After hours of frustrating phone calls and endless repetitions of my complaint, I finally managed to cancel the subscription again. This ordeal has caused me immense emotional distress and financial loss. The data that was lost holds sentimental value and is irreplaceable. I strongly caution others against using Geek Squad's services, as their incompetence and lack of accountability have made them feel more like scammers than a reputable tech support company.
