It took a while to figure out - Liz and LC were the managers who helped me and were amazing. In the end replaced the product with a discount for the trouble.

In addition to waiting even when I had an appointment, I would've been saved a lot of time if I was just told ahead of time what to expect during the appointment. Communication during the appointment was poor too; it's like they didn't want to tell me they couldn't do anything. They recommended a procedure that had a 50% chance of breaking my mac - it's insane that Apple would ever allow something like that. In the end, I plan on using ChatGPT to help me solve my problem.
