As I entered the store i asked where to be signed in. I then signed up with the individual who is assigned to this. He told me one person was a head of me. I watched him helped more people and left me standing there for some time. He then came over and thanked me for waiting and then proceeded to walk away helping someone else. After awhile he sent another young man to help me name Oscar(I believe that was his name) worked with me. Overall I felt rush like barely anytime was spent with me. I asked for the computer i was buying to be opened make sure all is working and if it was possible to transfer my data from the old mac to new. It was said to me in a way that can be done at home or I can come back at another time. The store was not excessively busy and did not understand why it could not be done. He then proceeded to help another customer before giving me my change and physical receipt which i wanted. Another staff had to go get my receipt. He then said half hazardly he will help show me how to set it up(he was still with another customer) but at that point i was disgusted i left.
This incident was on January 9,2026.

The service I received at the Genius Bar ridiculous
My appointment was scheduled for 11:35 AM, but I was not helped until 12:05 PM. During that time, I spoke with two different representatives. Neither of them checked me in or provided assistance; instead, I was told to just wait at a table with no updates.
In addition to the delay, the customer service I received was unfriendly. I felt dismissed, as if I were a bother, and the tone used toward me was very condescending and dismissive. Overall, the experience was frustrating and unprofessional.Keep in mind I sat patiently while multiple consumers arrived and received help. I came in for a simple change of my charging cable. The comments I received was “I just work here “ or “go have a seat over there “ never was I greeted or shown any hospitality. Keep in mind as soon as I started to speak negatively on the service I was receiving all eyes were on me. I hate to see things like this occur my time is valuable like anyone else in the world.This isn’t the level of service to be expected at an Apple Store. I also went ahead and spoke with a manager at the store after said incident and they stated that clients who create appointments from home have first priority. So why was I treated like a frog on a log and not acknowledged. While I watched the same 8-10 faces on a working floor bypass me. I think I’ll bypass this Apple Store in the future and go to Ridge hill instead. This store totally needs onboarding again to deliver quality service. Thanks for reading

Picked up my wife’s new iPhone 17 Pro Max in-store today after trading in her iPhone 15. When we asked for the normal in-store assistance with eSIM activation and Quick Start (the side-by-side direct transfer that Apple advertises), the employee told me verbatim:
“We don’t do that in the store anymore. We only do transfers for phones that are delivered. You should have done iCloud backup. ”
They then handed my wife the sealed box and said we have to set it up ourselves or go to our carrier.
That information is 100% incorrect. Apple’s own website and every prior iPhone launch still lists in-store activation and data-transfer help as a standard service. Because of the misinformation, I had to go to T-Mobile, where they activated the eSIM and got everything working in under 10 minutes.
Disappointing to spend using Apple Card on a Pro Max and be given outright false information that sends you on an extra errand. Please train staff correctly so other customers aren’t told the same wrong thing. We were there before 1:30PM and there is only one personnel at the pickup station today 11/29, just so you know who that staff is!
