- PPphilDec 28, 20251.0i had recently bought a brand new pre built pc from here only for it to have a hardware issue. as i went to the ‘geek squad’ for them to either compensate me or diagnose the issue they told me it’d be $180 for the diagnosis even though i had paid $300 for a 3 year warranty with the geek squad which doesn’t cover simple diagnosis / hardware replacement apparently? or i can exchange it under manufacture’s warranty but id have to wait 2 weeks for best buy to order a new one and i would have to return my current one on the spot. its just unfortunate that the ‘geek squad’ doesn’t have any power to do anything. go to microcenter.
