With Cricket, you can pick a cell phone plan to fit your lifestyle. Cricket offers unlimited talk, text, and data access, and no annual contract for cell phone service. Stop by our Batavia store today.
The phone service is fine but the customer service is absolutely terrible here. Know what you are signing up for when you go here, read everything. Because they sure wont explain anything to you. I absolutely implore you to go somewhere other than here.

At one point, I genuinely loved Cricket. It was affordable, reliable, and simple. But like everything else, once it ends up in the wrong hands—looking at you, AT&T—the quality goes backward. The customer service tanks, the prices go up, and everything falls apart. It's exactly what happened to DirecTV after their acquisition.
I was on the phone with my 76-year-old friend while she visited the Batavia store. She told the rep I was helping her and had full permission to speak on her behalf. The rep replied, “I don’t want to talk to David. I need to speak with you.” My friend had to repeat herself before they finally acknowledged me. That’s beyond disrespectful.
Then they had the nerve to tell her that the $40 per line pricing only applied “sometimes,” and that she’d need to pay $55 per line even if she had two lines. That’s just not true—Cricket’s own ads promote the $40/line deal for two lines. So why was she being misled? Upselling a senior citizen by confusing them on plan pricing? That’s shameful.
I checked her Cricket account and the IMEI numbers didn’t even match the actual phones she owns—an iPhone 14 and an iPhone 12. They had her listed as using iPhone SEs. I took her phone to Best Buy, and they ran a full Apple diagnostic—it came back clean. No issues. I then told the Cricket rep the second line could be how scammers were getting in and asked to disable it. She refused and just blamed the phone. That’s not just lazy—it’s unsafe.
I don’t care about your résumé, career path, or corporate training videos. I care about competence. And honestly? I believe I could walk into that store and do a better job. Not trying to brag—just being real. Because I actually care about getting it right.
And then to top it off? You charge $10 for a digital eSIM. That’s robbery. It’s just a code. Visible Wireless gives this for free, and that's where we’re going next.
🛑 Do better, Cricket. You’ve lost our business for good.
