So i placed a order for pick up “ an i phone 17 pro “ when i got to the store to pick it up i talked to a employee and he was taking care of it, after 15 minutes of waiting he comes and tells me that they didn’t have that specific phone in store and suggested me to call customer service number to have that order cancelled “ despite while i was waiting for him i got an email saying my order was already picked up while i was in the store “ so i told him that and he said there should not be any issues that customer service was going to take care of it. And when i called they said they couldn’t cancel the order since the employee marked as picked up in the first place so they did a return instead “ have in mind I never had possession of the cell phone “ and i had to pay a 40 dollar activation fee and a re stock fee for a cell phone that i never even touched. And on my account that device was showing as active so I assume that employee stole the phone and the manager at mae anne avenue location didn’t seem to care

Tim lacks the professionalism, competence, and basic management skills required to run a retail location. The staff is poorly trained and unable to handle even simple problem solving, which is a direct reflection of his leadership.
They pulled a clear bait and switch. We were told our monthly bill would go down by removing our grandfathered plan and adding a different type of plan, only to find out it actually increased by nearly $200 per month. On top of that, they could not even activate the phone we were adding. They claimed it was a technical error, but after calling Verizon directly, we found out the employee had put us on the wrong plan. No system issue, just incompetence.
This store wasted our time, raised our bill, and misrepresented what we were signing up for. We will never return to this location, and I strongly recommend avoiding it.

I made a mistake coming to a Victra Verizon store. I have been a customer for over 6 years and have never experienced such a headache in the past like I did here. It’s unfortunate because I am someone who likes establishing good relationships with people I have services with, but that’s not the case for this place. The new employees here need training because not only did one say that “I” needed to “pay for his services,” but also stated that he would lower my monthly bill with “HIS” discount which in fact he did not. He charged me for set up and go fees that I believe are fraud. The items purchased were sealed not opened at all, there wasn’t a set up and go of any kind rather I paid for his services. That language as someone who has customer service experience needs to be revised! On top of that, Verizon continues to remove my first responder discount. I asked about this and the employee ignored me. Now I feel like the staff are being avoidant with me because I have returned to the store 2 times.

We went to Verizon to change our line and get a new iPhone. A young employee helped us but spoke to us in a very disrespectful way, as if we didn’t understand anything. He also wasted two hours of our time and still didn’t provide a proper quote.
We came back the next day and asked to speak with the manager about this behavior, but again, they kept us waiting with no communication. It’s unbelievable—no one takes responsibility, and the customer service is extremely poor. This has been a very disappointing experience. They did not even say sorry for their behavior! Time is nothing for them !

I had an issue with my phone and was in a bad way financially with trying to get a new one. Joey (who was some kind of manager,) helped me Sunday 11/2/25 at 6pm. He really took his time in looking through inventory to get me the BEST deal! Even when the pricing started having an issue and it was past closing time. He didn’t try to cancel the transaction and have me come back the next day. He called all the “big wigs” even though it was after 7pm on a Sunday when they should have been closed. I won’t go to any other Verizon store in Reno now because of how amazing the customer service was. Not only did Joey help with my phone situation and getting me a KILLER DEAL! He also looked over my family plan and let me know how my family could save money. He was fully ready to take the time to go through all ten lines to get us the best deals. Verizon HR needs to get this man in on the training classes because he could teach some of the other reps at the other stores a thing or two!
