I could not recommend them more! They are personable with you, eager to understand and caring about your cat (note even the personal note on the whiteboard in the photo). They are cat specialists and it shows in everything. Our doctor, Kaitlin Smith and all staff have far exceeded anything that I would expect. If you have a cat in the Reno area it is my opinion that you are doing both of you a disservice by going any place else. My eternal gratitude to Dr. Smith and all the staff for taking care of my child!

We needed help resolving a worsening skin condition for one of our cats. I am always hesitant to take animals to a vet because I feel (historically) the trip becomes more of a list of "fees" as opposed to actual animal care. VCA Feline Medical Center never once tried to impose any other testing or services beyond the nature of our visit. I truly appreciated that.
Additionally, as a feline-only facility, I felt attentions were specific to our pet and the environment tailored appropriately. Nothing against dogs, it's just nice knowing these professionals know cats very well.
Their help was great, their pricing fair, and their post-visit follow-up was amazing and unexpected.
It's service like this that makes me feel "okay" starting to take our cats in routinely to get checked and helped when needed.
Thank you!
Also, they tend to have oodles of scheduling options throughout any one week via phone or online. Convenient!

The staff at VCA Feline Medical Center is the most compassionate and caring group of people I've had the pleasure of knowing these past 5 years. They always took great care of my late cat and continue to jump through hoops to accommodate the needs of my little boy. I wouldn't want to take him anywhere else, and I've struggled through episodes of my cats experiencing expensive chronic health issues. The people at VCA helped see me through all of them and I have nothing but gratitude for their efforts.

I am very happy with the experience that I had with this veterinarian medical center. My cat has been suffering with ear issues since October (6 months) and I took him to multiple vets, including driving an hour away to hopefully get an accurate diagnosis. FINALLY, VCA was able to provide that for us and get him the correct medication. The issues have now resolved.
All vets are expensive, but VCA was more reasonable and did not have us do unnecessary testing. I felt the pricing was transparent and fair.
I also appreciated that this is a feline only office. My cat seemed much more at ease and overall it was a calm environment.

Great staff and doctors. They always take their time to answer my questions and ease any worries. Dr. Waller is fantastic! You can tell she genuinely cares and my cats love her.
