Steer clear. This is an INDEPENDENTLY owned retail store and is NOT a Verizon corporate store. STEER CLEAR. Go to the true VERIZON store on Tropical by Home Depot or BOCA PARK. Again, this store is NOT a corporate Verizon store. There is a difference. A "Verizon store" can be a corporate-owned location OR an authorized retailer, with corporate stores generally following Verizon's standard pricing and policies, while retailers may have their own setup fees and policies, sometimes resulting in higher costs for services like phone setup. Corporate stores are often identified on Verizon's website, whereas retailers must identify themselves as independent on their signage, receipts, or website. independently owned and operates differently. WHY I DO NOT RECOMMEND: Bought one new phone on a business plan. The in-store rep also took it amongst himself to change the plan for that one phone line to a higher cost phone plan. A few weeks later I saw the error on the bill, I called Verizon business and was told the store we purchased at was an "independent retailer" and I had to go to the store for the credit. Granted we have been a Verizon customer for 15+ years. So, I went in, the rep was working and immediately admitted he was wrong. But, he was unable to issue a credit. Told me to go to the corporate store at CENTENNIAL. Drove there, they said they couldnt help as i purchase at an independent store. Drove back to this store, waited again, and the rep said to come back Saturday when a manager would be in. Returned Saturday, manager said he couldn't/wouldn't issue a refund but would see what he could do. He called corporate or whomever who told him they would look into to it. The manager then told me to come back Tuesday or Wednesday. So, after 3 visits already made to this store the manager said to come back a 4th time, due to their employee's negligence. Did I get the credit? Yes I did, by calling corporate AGAIN today on my own. Took ANOTHER hour of my time on the phone. The same corporate Verizon that said they could not issue the refund, issued the refund. If they didn't I would have cancelled our Verizon account. Had the Durango store issued the refund they could have kept a customer but they refused to. Highly recommend going to a true Verizon Store and steer clear of this independently owned Verizon store. Drive the extra 10 minutes and avoid this store. They would not take responsibility and issue a credit for an overcharge that they/there employee admittedly caused. Steer clear.
