    Working with Erik turned our 1 star review into 5 stars with his incredible customer service and help with resolving our account creation issues. Back in October 2025, we transferred to Verizon from another carrier and traded in our phones during the account setup process. We were told to expect a specific amount for our devices and promotional gift cards for being new customers. (This all happened at a different Verizon location.) For some reason, there were issues with receiving the full compensation credit for our trade-in and our gift cards. The Verizon folks we were initially working with at the other location couldn’t seem to track where the credit and gift cards went. It was at this point Erik took over our account and made it his mission to get us a resolution. From end of November to end of December 2025, he contacted customer service multiple times on our behalf to track down our missing credit balance. He proactively communicated the progress being made and consistently followed up with us to make sure we really got the credits and the promotional gift cards. While the initial signup was rocky, working with Erik re-instated our confidence in Verizon. He made sure we were heard and went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of.

    I was having technical issues with my 17 Pro that I had owned for only a few weeks- Which I in no way blame on this location or anyone there. My review is based on the way I was treated and the way the situation was handled. I paid sales tax on the phone when I bought it, Upon returning it, I did not get the tax refunded to me, when I came into the store I told them what I needed to do I was immediately met with attitude and told “gonna cost you 80 bucks for the restock” at this point I just needed a phone that worked so even though it felt like a punch in the gut since the issues with the phone were in no way my fault- (the staff there even agreed with me on that point) I agreed to pay- I had no choice. I had made an appointment for 5 PM that day. I arrived at 5:05pm, At 8:10pm my return and my transfer of data from the new phone back to my old phone was still not done, I was asked to come back the following morning, Where it took another hour.. Over four hours of my life wasted to complete the transaction. With attitude, every step of the way from the staff. I’ve been with Verizon for several years, Not sure if I’ll stay, Definitely won’t be returning to this location ever again.

    If you want to be scammed out of your money then go there. I came to this Verizon store ready to switch from AT&T because Verizon advertised “4 iPhone 17 Pro on us for $25 a line.” The LED sign in the store said the same. I even showed the rep the sign, but she denied the deal five different times—first saying it was $30 unless I bring my own device, then claiming it was only online, then pivoting into a $20 online discount, then insisting it was only for veterans, and finally saying she’d “see if I can get you the discount.” When I asked for a manager, I was told he was in a meeting. Ten minutes later, the manager—Steve, who had been standing there doing nothing—finally came over only to say he doesn’t deal with customers and handed me a generic corporate number. That’s not customer service, that’s a scam. Verizon is lying to customers right off the bat. If you want to be misled, denied, and treated with contempt, go see Steve at this store. Otherwise, stay far away.

    This review is specifically regarding the manager at the rainbow location along with the worker named BLANCA. My issue began on 11/17/2025 and it has YET to be resolved. The lack of communication and accountability is disgusting and frustrating. 1. I called in on 11/17/25 to order a phone and have it for store pick up, since I work odd hours and can't be home to sign for the delivery. The manager answered the phone and said that I could definitely be helped and that his worker BLANCA would assist with the purchase. 2. BLANCA was obviously NOT paying attention when the manager briefed her on what I needed, and he handed the call off to her. She went through the whole purchase and stated "it will be delivered to your home on ..." I asked what she meant by that since I had SPECIFIED that I needed to come to the store in person to pick it up. 3. She didn't apologize or try to resolve the issue. She kept arguing with me about a "miscommunication" instead of acknowledging HER mistake. She then put the phone down and LIED to the manager saying "she confirmed the home address & didn't say she wanted to come to the store." BLANCA, you didn't mute yourself and I heard you LYING to your manager. The calls are supposedly recording, have them pull up my call. The manager then offered free expedited shipping, to which I declined. The purpose of my call was to have the phone be picked up at the Verizon office. I didn't need y'all to order my phone, I could've done that myself. 4. BLANCA 3-wayed Verizon customer service and AGAIN LIED saying that I had changed my mind about having it delivered in store and if it could be canceled or shipped to Verizon. While they tried to figure that out, BLANCA looked at another store's inventory and said that the Boca Park location had the phone I wanted. She couldn't place a hold on it but said that if my order was canceled by phone, I could get the phone at the Boca Park location. 5. While on the phone with them I drove to the Boca Park location & explained that I wanted to purchase a phone. BLANCA and the Verizon worker on the phone said that the purchase order would be canceled soon and that I would get a call back with proof. I waited and hour, no call came through. I called Verizon and they told me that the cancelation would actually take 24 hrs. I left the Boca park location with no phone, thinking I would return the following day for a phone. 6. The next day I called Verizon asking for an update. They were confused and stated that the ticket help had been cancelled, but that they would work on canceling my order and purchase agreement that day. They told me that the new phone was already shipped and that they would re route it back to themselves, since I wouldn't be home to sign for it. 7. Days passed and the phone was not delivered/rerouted. I called Verizon. They said "wait until 11/25." It was rerouted and scanned as received back to Verizon on 11/26. Thanksgiving passed 11/27. On 11/28 I called to get an update. They confirmed that the phone was in their possession but that my purchase agreement was NOT cancelled. This meant that I could not purchase a phone or get the upgrade deals in store. The worker advised that she cancelled it. 8. I called back on 12/1/25. Asking about my bill still claiming I need to return my phone and the upgrade deals not showing up in my account. The worker said that everything was showing up as cancelled on their end and that my refund of $140 for the taxes and install fee I paid would be refunded by 12/3/25. 9. It is now 12/3/25. I have not received my $140 refund. Verizon has the phone that BLANCA ordered wrong. I have no upgrade deals on my account and I still cannot order the phone I wanted. 10. I've been a loyal customer for 7 years, previous to that I was on my parents' family plan for over 15 years. SHAME ON you BLANCA and the VERIZON workers that cannot do their jobs correctly and do not make an effort to correct their mistakes.
