I got a surprise $100 charge on my credit card from Best Buy last week. Stephanie at my local store took the time to research the charge, told me that it's for the Microsoft 365 program on my laptop before sending me to see someone at the Geek Squad. Henry at the Geek Squad took a couple of minutes to explain that I had the program installed when I purchased my laptop last year and showed how to access it. Imagine that! In an era of poor customer service, Best Buy has Stephanie and Henry as employees who REALLY CARE about providing GREAT customer service! Thank you Stephanie and Henry for being angels in my time of need!!! My rating: 😃👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I arrived early at Best Buy, but the employee in the computer department was busy. I waited for about half an hour and she never acknowledged me or said anything, as if I wasn’t important. When I finally asked her about some laptops, she didn’t seem to know much about them. I think its name was Sandra. The service was terrible and the experience was very disappointing. I will never shop at Best Buy again — I would rather buy from Amazon.

I want to premise my review with the fact that for the past 20 years at least I have purchased every electronic device And appliance from Best Buy not only personally, but for all of my business professions. We are upgrading our offices and purchased two 50 inch televisions from Best Buy but it was through Amazon. Upon delivery, we set them up in the two office rooms however, one of the screens had a yellow line throughout the entire Left-hand side. We reached out to Amazon because that’s where we purchased the television and they reached out to Best Buy which accepted our return with the condition that we bring it back to the store by February 24 which is 30 days.. Life happens but we were able to drop it off before the 30th day or February 24. The manager Arods was very rude and kept reciting their return policy that he can accept return If you wanted to if they are damaged. We both agreed that the damage from the television most likely happened during the delivery process which again we both confirmed Best Buy hired the courier. They would not accept any exchange or refund for the damaged television, even though it fell within the parameters they agreed to with Amazon replaying their return policy that returns are at the discretion. I’ve spoke with the corporate office and they said they would only give me 15 days however again they agreed to my return by February 24 through Amazon. Luckily enough, Amazon is an amazing company and they took the fall for Best Buy and even refunded my money. Best Buy asked me if I wanted their broken TV back and I just looked at them and walked out.

I was setting up a tradeshow booth at the convention center for NADA. The Wi-Fi I had ordered was not reaching where it needed to, so we had to find a quick solution. I Ubered to this Best Buy location and happen to be browsing the network router aisle in a bit of a rush. A gentleman named Bao (sp?) recognized that I was in need of help and took the time to ask what issues I was having in order for him to help me find the right gear for the right solution. Most big box stores these days do not focus on the hospitality of helping people find what they’re looking for, without being told to do so. This gentlemen went out of his way to help another person, and that goes a long way with where we are in this current political climate.

What a horrible experience I just had with the Best Buy on Maryland Parkway in Las Vegas. So, I ordered a new Hisense U8 85 in TV online. It was supposed to be delivered a few days later last Friday between 12:30-4:30 per a text I received the day before. After reading all of the amazing comments about the brightness, sound & IMAX experience in the Hisense U8 TV's, I was looking forward to seeing it all for myself. Anyway, my delivery day came as I waited for a call, text or E-mail that the truck was on the way & perhaps an exact arrival time would be given for such a large delivery. When 4:30PM rolled around, I became very anxious about the delivery. I then called Best Buy to find out where my new TV was. I was prepared to complain for not getting any kind of update for the late delivery. I was not prepared to be told that my TV order had been canceled in their system. The "customer service" man seemed to be annoyed with helping me after they had taken the full amount of about $2,000 out of my checking account three days prior. I received no apology or sympathy of any kind. In fact, I was told there was no way to tell how or why my order was canceled. I angrily told the man that what he said was nothing short of unacceptable. I also told him that I wanted my TV delivered the next morning with a refund credit for the unboxing & set up that they already charged me over $200 for as part of the purchase. I was rudely told that there was no way to deliver my TV until sometime early the next week. I was furious at that point. You see, I jumped the gun & helped my maintenance man move my existing 85 in TV to my bedroom & my 75 in TV from my bedroom to the other room in anticipation of my new Hisense in the living room. I canceled my Best Buy TV order & demanded a full refund for the whole thing. I then went online doing even more research & got so frustrated with the different features of all of the TV's there are to choose from. I decided to wait for now before asking my handyman to help me put the TV's back to their original places. I should have ordered my new TV from Amazon or Walmart in the first place. Everything I could ever want seems to only be at either one of those two great companies. I most certainly will never buy anything from Best Buy ever again! 🤬
