  The manager handled customers that were irate because they were incorrectly told to come to the Verizon location in Los Almos very well with patience and excellent explanation. My visit was quick and respectful. Best manager that I have seen in decades.

  I was there in November 2025 and wanted to buy a new Verizon phone. I was willing to pay a full price, up front but wanted to keep my current plan. Not sure who was helping me but this young Verizon staff lied to me that I can't buy a new Verzion phone without being locked for 3 years in a new Verzion plan (we are Verizon customers for 24 years now and have a plan we like). He actually dismissed me and told me that Verizon does not sell phones! This is a lie as I just bought a brand new phone with a Verzion representative. And we didn't have to change a family plan nor were we asked to sign a 3 year contract. When I asked this person can I buy a Verizon phone on amazon, he told me that I could buy a Verizon phone on amazon but he wouldn't activate it. Verzion representative told me later that they allow one to bring a new device to the store (wherever one bought it) and they'll set it up for you. When I called him on his BS, the young person asked me to leave the store so I did. Such an unpleasant and unsettling experience! I didn't realize that this is not a Verizon store but the young man didn't explain this to me. He acted like he represents Verizon.

  This is a Verizon retailer, not an actual Verizon store, meaning that they will sell you products but will not do any troubleshooting or support on those products. I know the employees aren't responsible for that system, and I don't blame them, but this shouldn't exist. If you're going to sell products, you need to employ someone who can help when those products have issues. Seperate from that: I walked in today with an issue with my Verizon phone that I could not get resolved after hours on the phone with Verizon. The employee heard one sentence and very curtly told us that they don't do troubleshooting or assistance and that we had to call corporate or go to the Verizon store in Santa Fe. Didn't offer to give us the number, nothing. I 100% understand that this person is not equipped to help with phone/contract issues. I truly do. But the store was 100% empty except for us. The fact that they patently refused to even talk to us - not even to give advice but just to hear us out - was so incredibly frustrating as a customer. Two minutes of their time and a sympathetic ear would have meant so much at that moment. I don't know what the solution is here, but the model of "We can sell you Verizon products but cannot do anything to support them" is an absolute capitalistic nightmare.

  The store Manager Steven (sp) was so kind, and went above and beyond to handle the technical issue we were having with our new phones. Well done Sir, and Thank You again.

  We had a great experience at the Verizon shop with Stephen. My wife first came in to activate a gizmo watch for the granddaughter. She told me she was very impressed with Stephen and said “now that is Customer Service”and he is a professional. I went a few days later to pick up my new iPhone 17 cell phone and Met Stephen. I also agree with my wife that he is an outstanding and knowledgeable employee for Verizon. He definitely deserves compensation for his professionalism.
