Bought a remote start kit through another company. Scheduled an install with Geeksquad. They gave me the run around for almost six weeks, rescheduling my appointment and tuen the tech was not in the shop on the day of my new appointment. I come from an hour away and no one called me to say he wouldn't be in. Rescheduled my appointment again only to be told they actually aren't trained to do it and I would need to go to El paso. Told customer service how I was told it could be done and then bounced around and all they said was they would leave feedback to maybe get someone trained. Total waste of time and gas
This has been the worst Geek Squad experience I’ve had in 15 years. I’m a photographer and always purchase protection for my devices. In every state I’ve lived—Michigan, Georgia, and New Hampshire—the repair process has been consistent: a 21-day maximum turnaround and frequent updates. I typically received my devices back within 10 days.
My recent experience at the Las Cruces location has been completely different. I received no communication at all about the status of my repair, and after 24 days I was told they don’t know when my device will be returned. The only explanation I got was: “You just have to wait.”
As a working photographer, my camera is essential to my job. If I need to rent a camera to continue working, I at least need a reliable estimate of how long mine will be gone. Without any information, I’m left unable to plan or work effectively.
This level of service is far below the standard I’ve trusted for years. I hope Geek Squad improves communication and reliability at this location.

Stayed on the phone for a total of 7 hours, got cut off 3 different times without a call back ...... TERRIBLE service and now my laptop has to go to the store to repair what was done by the "agents". Definitely, out of the country and would not trust again!

Had a site survey tonight, they arrived at 7:55pm, 5 minutes before the 8pm deadline. I had previously, on the phone, explained what I wanted done but had to explain again. They didn't know where to find the antenna cable distribution box but they finally found it outside. As for the antenna installation they couldn't seal the install and tge antenna had to be installed on side of house. When I ask them just to give me an estimate for the install, they both decided they wouldn't be able to do the install afterall. So it's a free site survey but they won't do anything unless you commit for Bestbuy to do the installation. Thanks but no thanks.
