- PEPamela EvansMay 28, 20251.0Verizion, located at 917 East Bender, Hobbs, NM 88240 owned by Russell Cellular, is a rip off. They will tell you that your number and device will transfer but they don't always. When they don't they won't be able to explain why or correct the matter. When asked everyone goes mute and can't answer any questions. I was forced to waste $134 dollars and make an installment plan to purchase a new phone when I have a perfectly working device that "won't transfer" after I was assured that "they will transfer" before changing my service. Perhaps people have money to waste on items they already own but I do not. Neither am I in the habit of replacing perfectly functional equipment. I feel completely scammed by the salesperson and the store in general. I do not recommend this store. Zero stars out of zero stars for this store and this saleperson.
