- J_Julie _Aug 10, 20251.0They lost my old phone that they were supposed to return to the warehouse after I exchanged it for a new "on us" phone. The credit for the no charge new phone does not go into effect until the Verizon warehouse received my old phone. I called them several times over the following 6 weeks and they assured me it was being mailed. Finally I got through to Verizon staff who deal with significant issues and they called this store several times to find my phone. The manager assured them it would be mailed. 2 months later the Verizon warehouse received a box of old returned phones from this Espanola store and my phone was on the list but MY PHONE WAS NOT IN THE BOX. This Verizon store tried to cover their incompetence. Verizon help desk reported my phone stolen/lost and I went through the process of changing passwords, etc. since my old phone, although it can't be used on cellular network, could still be used on WiFi with possible access to my personal accounts, photos, etc. Also, with the "on us" change to my account, the salesman did not tell me I would loose Mobile Hotspot (I later found out to add it I have to pay another $15/mo). I was deceived and they lost my old phone. I would not recommend this store.
