  Left hand doesn't work with the right. 1. Scheduled to have a sound bar. 2. Scheduled to have my A/V installed, only problem was seems nobody communicated that to the installers, 2 guys are sent to install the same sound bar that was installed the week before. 3. Finally get appointment for A/V instalation, only problem is dude calls in sick, no backup available, after receiving text when he will be here.

  I made an appointment through AppleCare to bring my 16 pro with a broken camera lens cover in for repair. As the option for broken lens covers was not in their drop down menu, I selected “damaged back” and called ahead to confirm they could fix it. The person I spoke with said they can and to come on over. Long story short, they waste your time and assume you have zero technical aptitude. They gave me the runaround on what they’d be able to do for me before telling me that they could not repair my phone because they had neither the spare parts or a proper replacement on hand. This is why I called ahead yet they still prevaricated, misled me about my options, and generally wasted my time. The employee asked me insulting questions like whether I knew my apple ID and password or not. Rude! Maybe try not treating everyone that approaches your desk like a noob. This was after they saw my password (not passcode) protected device that is clearly set up for a power user. Even worse regarding their conduct was one of the staff mentioned that the Apple Store was booked solid for appointments so I left feeling defeated. But then I called Apple Support, who took my feedback about their subcontractor to heart and informed me that I could get into the Apple Store later today where hopefully my broken lens is fixed. What I noticed about the clientele here was it was mostly average consumers who were locked out of their devices or cloud accounts. I was the only person there at the time for a physical repair. The iPhone 16 pro was released less than a year ago, and if the venereable “geek squad” is unable to repair that, then maybe they should stay in their lane and stop offering hardware repairs. Plenty of old ladies who forgot their passwords and plenty of people that lack the wherewithal to install a LCD flat panel on an articulating mount who will be thrilled for the amateur help this place provides. I would stongly discourage going here for any sort of device repair, unless you like being treated like an idiot and having your time wasted.

  Awful. Poor Customer service. Staff treated me like an idiot. Made me wait two hours, while most of the team were not busy, some talking about each other. Pretty sad place, save your time go elsewhere.

  Highly recommend Geek Squad. Whether you are getting a warranty plan for any sort of appliance or device you buy from Best Buy, or if you have an electronic issue with a computer, laptop, phone, etc. Every issue I've taken to them, they have been spot on and have knocked it out of the park, making me feel at ease and helping me resolve all issues. Highly recommend.
