- SSSoniaJan 23, 20261.0GO TO THE APPLE IN SHORT HILLS FOR ANY PART REPLACEMENT. I had a very disappointing experience at the Apple Store in Willowbrook. I went in for a simple battery replacement on my 2018 MacBook Pro and was told by a staff member (Jay) that my laptop was basically “too old” and that they couldn’t replace the battery due to lack of parts. Instead, I was pushed toward buying a new MacBook — including a lower-spec model — with the justification that “$500 more isn’t much.” That didn’t feel honest or customer-focused. To make matters worse, the manager (Chris) later followed up and repeated the same explanation rather than offering a real solution. It felt like sales pressure rather than genuine support. I went to the Apple Store in Short Hills instead and had the exact opposite experience: they ordered the part, handled the repair professionally, and my MacBook battery was replaced without issue. Clearly, it was possible all along. Based on my experience, I would not recommend the Willowbrook location.

I was happy to have worked with someone who was very chill especially with how hectic the store was at 12ish pm. He had myself and two other customers he was working with at once. Multitasking didn’t seem like a problem. He was able to help me to get back into my MacBook and Apple Watch since I had forgotten my password for both. I obviously need to start writing down these password’s down -___-. Brandon never made me feel like a bother especially since I was there for 1 1/2h-2 hour. Apple has a good egg (Brandon).
