I am writing a totally new review. I reviewed this location 2 years ago and they were absolutely fantastic. Everything was great. I've been a Verizon customer for 20 years. Notice I said have been. I am in the process of leaving. I came in tonight with a problem and it was a serious problem for me. I came in at 7:37. The store closes at 8:00 p.m. with a black screen on my phone and I could not do a reset because it said it was stuck in airplane mode which I did not do because I was watching a movie and all of a sudden this just happened. Needless to say, I met a young lady named Crystal new to the location as I was told from the manager. First question she asked me was if I had insurance I said yes I do. She took out a highlighter and took a piece of paper that had pre-printed phone numbers on it and said you're going to have to call for a replacement. I looked at her perplexed. If I can't use my phone, how am I making a phone call? I live in North Jersey. I stay in Seaside Heights while I'm here working. I do not have a landline. Do not have a computer. I do everything off of my phone. I asked if I could use the phone there to call customer service as I've done in the past and she said no. They were closing soon and it would take too long. So I said how about I canceled the other five lines I have & She said you can call customer service. I said so you're basically telling me there's nothing you can do for me? I said there's three other people. Nobody can get my screen to come back on the phone's not dead the phone's not off - It's stuck. She went in the back & a manager came out. Someone I've dealt with for years. Very nice person. He brought my phone in the back to a darker room and said there was nothing they could do that I would have to go through warranty & since they were closing they couldn't let me use the phone. I find this unbelievable!! A customer of 20 years has a problem and you can't let them use the phone because everybody wants to go home? The first rule of customer service- Is that you help a customer (so I kind of felt slighted.) They told me to come back tomorrow. I said I can't. I have a 7:00 conference call & I have to be at my business by 10:00 a.m. I was told if anything changes I could come back tomorrow. I said something's going to change & that's going to be my phone company as I walked out the door. Three people stood at the back of the store. Don't know what they were talking about but they kept looking at me walking to my car. At this point I felt like I was just a number and not a customer because I was also told they could put another line on my account , put my phone number on that line & get another phone So then I'm paying activation fee, paying for another phone, paying for another line but you can't help me fix the phone I have. So now it's all a money thing & commission! You don't get paid to do customer service But you do if You add a line and sell a phone!!!! Needless to say I left there at 7:47 I had to go next door to T-Mobile & pay my nephews Wi-Fi bill & I was upset. The manager there asked me what was the problem and I told him I was without a phone & Verizon said I had to call for a warranty replacement. He said let me see your phone ask me what kind of phone it was. I told him it was a Google fold. He googled how to fix a Google fold with a black screen locked in airplane mode. My phone was back on within 3 minutes because I'm actually posting this review from my phone! So a rival phone company employee stayed 10 minutes later to help me a non-customer fix a Verizon phone. You know if they get the buy out that I'm asking for on what I owe on my Verizon phone The last of my five lines are going to T-Mobile tomorrow. I am very disappointed in the way I was treated. It wouldn't have taken anything to let me use the company phone to call their customer service. I've done it before we had about 15 minutes BUT they had time to put on another line from me. Charge me an activation fee hook my line up And I had to buy another phone !?! 🤔NOT GOOD

Walked in tonight to the store and was greeted by Thomas and Crystal. Absolutely amazing customer service . We needed to transfer one phone to another and by the time we walked out this was accomplished with just minimal time . Wonderful pleasant customer service way beyond what we expected. Thank you so much

I needed help to correct an issue I caused on my phone. I was concerned I deleted information I wouldn’t be able to retrieve. When I walked into Verizon I was cordially greeted by Jen. She assured me she would be able to fix the issue. Kat was also of assistance. I am so grateful to both of them for helping me so quickly and efficiently and with a smile.

If I could give them a negative star I would. This is the 2nd trip here and zero help. The associate that “helped” me didn’t know anything about iPhones bc “ I don’t have an iPhone”. Maybe you should find another line of work buddy.
