Until Dr. Tancredi and especially Dr. Petrone left this practice, I wouldn’t have dreamed of going anywhere else for my spicy kitties’ health and medical needs. Both doctors are OUTSTANDING practitioners and human beings, and the staff was always supportive and lovely and very caring and compassionate. My cat Lilly lived to almost 23 years under their and my care! I’m working on my third book, and I even detail how acutely important this hospital was to Lilly’s well-being and amazing longevity. Having taken my new little cat Cecilia to see the new medical director and her henchwomen techs several months ago, I can say it felt like going to a stranger’s place with robots instead of people. Why? Nobody gave a damn (except about the fee). Céci’s got major fear aggression, even on Gabapentin, which I’d given her the night before and the morning of our afternoon appointment. So the folks there knew going in that the child is an extra-spicy ghost pepper. Nevertheless, the vet was chilly, had an indifferent bedside manner, and barely examined my cat. When I pointed this out, she said, “She’s fine. She’s strong. Bye.” — and just left the room in a pissy huff. Never again. After patronising and trusting this business for more than two DECADES, this is how you treat me and my baby? Yeah, I don’t think so. I guess these robots don’t need my business or care about my Cecilia. That’s okay. Plenty of competition in Bergen County for the same dollars. So disappointing.

I came here with my senior shih tzu and we saw Dr Jasmine Calle. She was amazing with us and with my baby. She was very thorough with us and gave us the space to make our own decisions for what was best for our family. She wasn’t pushy at all; just told us about our options and let us choose what would be best for us. She took great care of my 15 year old shih tzu, who is not the easiest of patients. Im pretty picky and careful with who I let care for my dog, as she is old and fragile. But we will definitely be going back and requesting to see her!

If I could give below 1 star I would. This place is terrible, we took our pet and not only did they refuse to touch him but they claimed they weren’t able to tell if it was male or female. Zero professionalism and total lack of respect for their customers and our pets. Also, very neglectful and unexperienced staff. We were charged nearly $200 from people that did not know what they were doing. This place is money hungry and if you care about your beloved pet do not take them here. Please, read the other reviews.
