  Great experience with Rocco (manager) and Lisa, the sales rep. Both were extremely helpful and transparent during my purchase. I was coming from another provider, and they made the transition easy. Highly recommend making the switch.

  I visited the Verizon store on Route 17,Paramus today because my email was not downloading. I tried calling Verizon tech support but a two hour hold listening to horrible music was more than anyone can bear. Completely unacceptable and uncaring on Verizon’s part. I called Apple Support and was connected promptly to a technician who ran a diagnostic check and determined that the problem lay with Verizon. I then took the phone to the Verizon store. A manager whose name started with “A” immediately saw the problem and solved it in seconds. He felt that Apple should have been able to resolve such a minor issue. Naturally I was pleased. My only concern is that the process of fixing it was not readily explained so that I may be able to resolve the issue if it surfaced again. Sometimes personnel should be a bit more patient with elderly people such as I.

  I spent an hour and a half on the phone with Verizon ordering a new phone in exchange for one I had previously ordered. I was instructed by the Verizon representative to bring the phone to the Paramus store to return it, and I would be given the new phone in exchange. They scheduled the appointment for me. A few days later, I showed up for my scheduled appointment and was told that there was no phone for me. The staff at the store were dismissive, unhelpful and downright rude when we tried to understand what was going on. We had made a trip to the store anticipating leaving with a new phone in time for the holidays. Instead, we left there utterly stunned by aweful way we were treated. I am a 20 year customer of Verizon, and had customer service been open at this time I would have canceled my service on the spot. Lisa was the store employee who first “helped” us, and then a store manager whose name I did not get, unfortunately. Neither should be working in anything customer service related. Verizon, do better. Verizon Route 4 Paramus, you are as aweful as they come! Take your business elsewhere people. This store doesn’t deserve it.
