- JJJonAug 4, 20255.0Great service! A month ago, I bought the permanent version of the Microsoft Office software for my laptop at Best Buy. When I originally purchased the laptop, I guess one of the staff people forgot to print out and give me the activation code for the software. I went to Geek Squad today and explained the situation and showed them my receipt, and they were able to print out my code and activate it for me!
- TAThe Socrates of AthensJul 29, 20231.0I came to pick my laptop up today and saw two geek squad members working in their respective part of the store. One was busy with a customer while another came toward me; I told him that I needed to pick my laptop up, which should have taken no more than five minutes. He was extremely rude and told me "I'm off hours" three times while nonchalantly walking away to "do something". He barely let me speak, because he apparently couldn't be bothered and wasn't interested in working. It ended up taking an hour and this same parasite said "now I'm ready to help you" after complaining about coming in an hour early. The cherry on top was that he gave me my laptop completely uncharged, so I had further to wait for him to charge it and he barely could do that. Thus, I had little time to check if each feature worked properly on my laptop. This communicates to me a lack of a sense of service and a disregard for someone who paid Geek Squad respect and money. Don't reward these people; they clearly don't care and don't deserve a cent.
