    I came in around 7:30 on the 6th in a panic because someone had compromised my identity and used that to purchase and activate 2 new phones on my account (knocking both mine and my wife's phones off of Verizon's network). With my wife currently travelling for a conference (and this not available), this was potentially devastating for the both of us. I was fortunate to work with Gabriel and Felicia at you Hampton/Newton location, who were not only able to get in touch with your fraud unit to have a block placed on my Verizon account, but were able to reactivate both my wife's and my phones! Due to the fact that I arrived less than 30 minutes before closing, it would have been expected to be told that I needed to come back in the morning, but both Gabriel and Felicia reassured me (despite my apologies) that they would take care of everything right there, regardless of how long it took. I wish I could rate them both at MORE than 5 stars, because they went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. They are both a credit to your company! Thank you Gabriel and Felicia!!!

    This isn’t a “corporate” Verizon store. They are a privately owned, third-party business who doesn’t have to follow Verizon policies. This means their fees are higher than a corporate Verizon store and the staff has less specialized Verizon training. I went into have my phone line transferred from one phone to another and was told I would be charged $50 to do so. I showed them the Verizon website, which specifically states, “If the phone is activated on an existing line, and you're simply replacing an old phone, there is no charge for activating the device.” I was told I could “try a corporate Verizon store,” but they would still charge me $50 to activate the new phone on my existing line. The interesting part is that the reason I got a new phone was that my previous one broke about 3 weeks ago, and I was using a very old phone in the meantime. I mentioned that I had been in their store 3 weeks ago and they had transferred my line free of charge… they told me that they’ve “always” charged to transfer phones, despite my obvious experience otherwise. The phone was fully set up, I simply needed to get service on the phone, as newer phones don’t use SIM cards.
