Five stars is not enough.
I have upgraded multiple devices at the Verizon store in Montclair, New Jersey, and Joe’s service is truly second to none. He is not only incredibly knowledgeable, he works in your best interest and walks you through every detail so you feel confident and fully supported. He doesn’t rush the process. He makes sure you understand your options, the implications, and the best path forward. That level of transparency is rare.
Joe has become a trusted advisor to us with an outstanding track record. Most recently, he helped us navigate an uncommon trade-in situation. When a Verizon corporate store refused to provide customer service, I called Joe. Even though it was his day off, he stepped in immediately and took care of us like he always does. That kind of ownership and follow-through says everything.
Alex and the rest of the team reflect that same professionalism and care. The culture in that store is different. It feels like you have advocates on your side, not salespeople.
Never go anywhere else. Joe is the person to see, and his team is exceptional. I truly cannot overstate how valuable they are. If I could give them 1,000 stars, I would.

WHAT IN THE BRAIN ROT IS THIS STORE.
My phone died during snowmageddon after falling while I was shoveling, so I went in just trying to buy a replacement. The rep was completely uninterested in helping. Zero urgency. Zero empathy.
I had to call customer service myself on the store's phone to reset my PIN, sitting there for nearly an hour, and then was told they couldn’t even sell me a new phone and that I’d have to go to the Clifton corporate store… without a working phone to navigate there. Make that make sense.
I’ve been a Verizon customer since ~2007, and I’ve never felt more dismissed or inconvenienced. Unhelpful and unkind from start to finish. Not to mention how not having a phone affects my business as a small business owner.
Avoid this location if you actually need help. I don't write many reviews, but I just want to save you the headache if you actually need help.

Great iPhone service from Brandon today! Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in solving my phone problem. My family has had similar results with their iPhone needs here and recommended I see Brandon. Glad I did that!

My experience at the Verizon store in Montclair was disappointing. The employee who helped me didn’t seem to have the necessary knowledge to assist with my questions. I was left wondering why someone without proper training was left alone to help customers. It made the visit feel like a waste of time. I hope the store improves staff training and customer support.
