I recently switched to Verizon and had a number porting issue that online customer service couldn’t resolve. Ahmed was incredibly helpful and made sure my issue was fully resolved. He was patient, knowledgeable, and truly went above and beyond. Thank you, Ahmed, for the excellent service!

I think their hours on Saturday should be longer. I got there at 7:15 and the doors were locked. Five people walked out of the back room and just pointed and looked at my car instead of sir. What can I help you with customer service is terrible 2026. We think with all of the AI now that customer service would be better because AI stealing all the jobs now I could see why.

There needs to be an investigation into the employees at this Verizon store. Just to be clear, I have never stepped foot in this store nor have I ever spoken to them on the phone because they never answer the phone.
On 01/10/26 I received an email from Verizon that there had been a device upgrade on my account. I went to my account and saw that a new order had been entered in my account for an $1100 Apple I-phone and that it was ready to be picked up at this location (Manalapan NJ). I called the fraud department and reported the unauthorized activity. While I was on the phone, another order was entered into my account for another $1100 Apple I-phone and it was ready to be picked up in Manalapan NJ. I advised the fraud investigator that while we were talking another order was placed for the same thing. The order numbers on the receipts they emailed me were 85896550 and 85896630. So the fraudulent cases were opened and I was told that I would not be responsible for any charges associated with this activity. Before hanging up, I received another email advising me that the two orders had been picked up already, certainly not by me as I was 100 miles away on the phone with the fraud department. I advised the investigator on the phone regarding this "pick-up" activity, hoping that she would call this store and ask "who picked up these orders?" but she was not interested in getting any more involved with resolving these stolen phones valued at over $2200. I see now that it may take 2 billing cycles for all these fraudulent charges to be removed from my account. I will not be making any more payments on this account until my account has been corrected - I only have a 1-line flip-phone and my monthly payments are $41. If this is not resolved within the stated 60 days, I will close my account and take my business elsewhere.
FOLLOW-UP: I received a text message on 01/11/26 that there was an Apple smart watch in my verizon shopping cart and I should make the payment on it. No order number, same location as this store. Someone (or perhaps everyone) working at this store is scamming verizon for free equipment by hacking customer accounts. Then they pick up the products themselves and probably resell, pocketing the money. I opened my Verizon account but there was not smart watch in my cart. They were trying to steal that item as well.
CONCLUSION: I have re-registered my account with Verizon to include a phone number lock, sim card lock, new account name, new password and security questions. Hopefully that will stop this fraudulent activity on my account. By the way, if you Google the Verizon store in Manalapan NJ you will see that there are dozens of 1 star reviews for incompetence, fraud and negligence. It may be in Verizon's best interest to send an under-cover employee into this store and ask who ordered and picked up the two Apple I-phones on 01/10/26 and see what type of reaction you get.
ADDITIONAL NOTE: If you Google this verizon store in Manalapan NJ and click on "website" you get a message that this option is unavailable - there is no customer access to this
store's website. Time to drain the swamp.
01/28/26 - 2 weeks after responding to Verizon with their complaint tracking number and still waiting for their response back to me, as stated in their reply. Obviously, Verizon does not take bad reviews and fraudulent activity by their employees seriously. My account is still showing that I owe for this $1100 phone, plus all fees, and I have been told nothing regarding the investigation. Quite sure I will be changing providers.

Ed was such a big help in my last minute purchase of an upgraded new phone. He was genuinely so sweet and helpful. I mentioned being in discomfort from a recent injury and he was emphatic and took the time to let me know he would take care of everything quickly, and he did.
