The Best Buy in Manalapin is absolutely horrible! Nobody knows anything!
I was in there on Friday Feb 13th to buy a gift card - The only reason why I needed the gift card was for a dash cam install for my BF. I talked to 7 different people and not 1 person could tell me if the gift card was good for dash cam installs - 1/2 hr later I was told Yes - 100% the gift card can be used for install - well, guess what - IT CAN'T BE USED FOR AN INSTALLS!!!!!!!
Now I'm stuck with a $150 gift card.
I hate Best buy and never shop there bc the employees are rude, ignorant and have absolutely no knowledge.

Do not deal with this location. The management is absolutely disgusting the way they treat customers. I have spent $50k with Best Buy and the harassment over trying to return a microwave without a receipt is ridiculous. Asking me for private information if the party that purchased it for me. Laughing in my face. Corporate escalations reaching out to out the fire out with no resolution. Disgusting. Their refusal to take ANY merch back without a receipt shows their impending closure. It’s a shame. They used to be a good company to deal with. Go to any location except this one if you must.

More than 20-Day Nightmare: The "Open Box" Warranty is a Scam
I am beyond frustrated with my recent experience. I purchased an open-box refrigerator and—knowing the risks—specifically paid for a five-year warranty. Despite that "protection," I felt completely scammed from day one.
• The Delivery: The delivery crew broke the freezer door during installation. The fridge wouldn't cool and beeped incessantly.
• The Runaround: Best Buy refused to help and redirected me to Samsung. After hours on the phone, Samsung informed me the fridge wasn't under warranty.
• The "Service": I spent more than 20 days in an infinite loop of automated messages. Best Buy and Samsung kept pointing fingers at each other while I had a broken appliance in my kitchen. I even had to figure out on my own that they delivered it in "Demo Mode."
• The Resolution: A local manager finally had to "go out of his way" to bypass the broken customer service system just to get a tech out, only for them to confirm it was unfixable.
I ended up returning the unit. If you buy Open Box here, be prepared to be your own repairman and your own advocate, because the "warranty" you're paying for is effectively a ghost. Avoid at all costs.

They have a call center that is absolutely terrible. Told me that they’re experiencing higher call volume yet I walked into the store not a single phone is ringing to pay my Verizon bill for us to be told at the door that they don’t take payments waste trip, gas, and time wasted.
