If I could give 0 I would. Place is terrible over charge you on medication. Don’t tell you when price increases go up. Brought my dog in for a sickness. Was told he was over weight and needs to diet. Came back in another day and turns out he had pneumonia. Brought my dog in for a procedure and they did the wrong procedure. Wasting multiple trips to this hospital. Dogs dew claw was broken and needed attention. Couldn’t be seen. Worst hospital I would stay far far away from this place.

I was not going to originally leave a review because I felt bad, however people deserve to know to take their precious pets to a vet that actually cares, and does a thorough job. If I could give a zero star review, I would. We brought our cat in because she had been vomiting on and off for a 1.5 weeks, and had lost 1/3 of our body weight. The vet did bloodwork and gave us anti nausea. They told us we would have the blood results by the next day. They did not, in fact, we called multiple times a day, every day, until Thursday afternoon when they called us around 6pm with the results. (We went in on a Monday, and to be gracious to them, Monday was indigenous people’s day / Columbus Day, so maybe the bloodwork place was closed, but that’s still far more days than ‘the next day’) The vet who called us with info about the bloodwork was not the same vet we saw. She told us that all the bloodwork seemed healthy and that our cat only had an elevated white blood cell count, and that she should be good. They told us to continue to monitor her and then see if we want to bring her back in, but there was no cause for concern. We decided to go to a new vet for a second opinion because it was clear that the vet over the phone was not briefed with information about our cat, as she didn’t even realize she had been vomiting for many days prior, and didn’t even bring up the weight loss. The new doctor within minutes of seeing her was alarmed by her size. We did an ultrasound right then and there, and found out she has cancer. Do not bring your pets here if you want answers.

I finally found a great vet! I work with Dr. Brigante she helped me with my cat Cali to extend her life comfortably with kidney disease. She monitored Cali with blood, ultrasounds & urine tests. Dr. Brigante set us up with a proactive drug program to manage her symptoms extending her life & keeping her symptoms at bay. Previous vets if they gave me a bad diagnosis that was it. Nothing to treat symptoms or to make the cat comfortable just a take her home. I didn't know I had any options for treatment. Dr. Brigante educated me about the disease and prescribed meds which helped me make Cali's illness and last days comfortable. I know I did all I could to not watch my baby suffer and flame out which meant the world to me. I can't sing the praises of this clinic enough. Staff is efficient & knowledgeable. They can have your medication for pick up in no time flat. Not only that, everyone is empathic, share their knowledge & experiences with their animals to help pet parents manage aftercare. They take Trupanion insurance and have a system where Trupanion at checkout receives a claim from the office and send back the amount of the bill they will cover and I paid the balance. I did not have to pay the full amount, file a claim then get reimbursed. This was very helpful with the visits, procedures and medication we needed. Knowledge, compassion and proactive medicine are what you receive at this fabulous clinic. If you love your baby check it out.

What happened to the old Little Falls Animal Hospital? It was great when Dr Dilts owned it. But since VCA took over service not what it used to be but I feel it’s important to share my experience as a 30 plus year customer my 3rd dog with them I bought my sick dog in and was extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism shown by Verna client service supervisor I arrived just 10 minutes late for the appointment As my wife apologized to the front desk, Verna responded sharply saying we just called your house to see if you wanted to reschedule in a very nasty tone I took a deep breath and tried remain calm. She then said, “OK OK put the dog on the scale “, but as I walked my visibility sick dog over, she suddenly changed course and said, “you know what, let me see if the vet still wants to see him. Within seconds, she returned and told us we’d have to reschedule I told her, you’re going to make us reschedule this over 10 minutes I told her, Excuse me, my dog is very sick.He hasn’t eaten in four days- He needs to be seen “ Her response showed zero compassion and a complete lack of care. I fully understand the importance of being on time, but there is also a basic level of respect and empathy that should be given- especially in a place that’s supposed to care for animals and support the people who love them. The way this situation was handled disgraceful! I’ll end with this sadly, after 3 decades plus of loyalty I will no longer be bringing my pets to this animal hospital recommending this to fellow pet owners my dog passed away 6 days later due to the complications we were there to address ,

My Zoie is 13 years old and has been going to Little Falls Animal hospital since she was born. I recently made an appointment just for a wellness check however due to unforeseen circumstances I had to reschedule the appointment a few times. I was utterly surprised on my last contact with VCA. The receptionist told me that she could reschedule however I have to pay in advance due to so many cancellations (3 times). What about all the appointments over the past 13 years that weren’t reschedule and the thousands of dollars they received from me? None of that was considered and apparently they do not value customer loyalty. It’s so disappointing that after all these years I would be treated like this. I stayed with Little Falls because they appeared to be caring and I never had any issues however this incident revealed that it was all a facade and all they care about is the MONEY!
