They told me to come back on Friday to activate the devices, but the devices hadn’t arrived when I came back on Friday (no phone call). I came back on the following Monday, and they found out that the order hadn’t even been placed. They re-order the phone and I finally come in on Friday to get it activated (again, no phone calls to me at all during this waiting process). When I show up to enroll the phone, the store was empty of customers. It took the employee two hours (no exaggeration) to enroll my phone. During that time, he had to call Verizon (twice) and even took personal calls from a debt collector while he was trying to complete my transfer. This two hour process did not even include transferring data to the new phone. So he sent me on my way with my phone mid-data transfer and didn’t complete the actual phone registration. I only know this because I haven’t received calls since making the switch and I cannot send or receive texts that are not iMessages. I’m trying to call Verizon directly to fix this myself, but of course the transfer pin has now expired and I need to start with AT&T all over again. So here I am, STILL without service thanks to the geniuses at the Wireless Zone. This was not a complicated order. But it took over two hours of my time to not even complete the work. The employee was condescending and rude. He mentioned repeatedly that he “shouldn’t even be setting up my phone” as if he was doing me a favor by doing this work. Believe it or not, he STILL tried to sell me on accessories including a literal charger. A $30 USB-C charger? When the iPad and iPhone BOTH come with them? Horrible experience top to bottom. DO NOT GO HERE.
