Recently, I was having trouble upgrading my phone and activating the eSIM card. I worked with Eric for almost 3 hours. During this time, he did a combination of diagnosing the issue without results and ultimately contacted tech support. Eric would randomly walk away, showing disinterest, leaving me to explain the problem to the tech and suggest solutions. He was brash and unclear in our requests, causing confusion with the agents on the phone. After three hours, there were no results other than a bricked phone and a support ticket, hoping they could fix the issue. Twenty-four hours passed with no solution. Today, I visited the Bridgewater store. They confirmed the issue Eric initially saw and said it’s an easy fix. They also saw the ticket with no updates. In less than 45 minutes, my phone problem was resolved, requiring no tech support. Had there been more patience and better listening skills, I’m sure Eric would have found the solution.
