Our dog is almost 6 and has moved with us through three different states, so we’ve been to our fair share of vets. VCA Cherry Hill has been the absolute best experience we’ve had. The staff is so friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. We came in for annual vaccines and an exam, and we’ll definitely be returning—so happy to have found this place!

I will not be returning here. I made an appointment because I needed my perfectly healthy dog up to date on vaccinations. The vet was so pushy trying to get me to purchase the health insurance package or whatever it was. Super annoying. My dog is a young pit mix with some anxiety (non reactive) they didn’t even try to examine him!! They sent me home with medications to bring him back after sedating him….absolutely not!!!!! He was just nervous. I just wanted vaccines it shouldn’t be that hard to administer them? But they wanted to do a full exam.. probably to rack up my bill. I ended up taking him to the petco vet clinic in cherry hill we were in out with his vaccines UNSEDATED.

I recently took my Shih Tzu, Pogo, to see Dr. Morgan, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care she provided. She was incredibly thorough, kind, and patient in explaining everything after doing X-rays of his chest and throat. It was such a relief to learn that his lungs and heart looked good, and Dr. Morgan made sure I understood every detail. It’s clear she truly cares about her patients and their owners. I left feeling reassured and confident that my dog was in excellent hands. Highly recommend Dr. Morgan and the entire team for anyone looking for compassionate, knowledgeable veterinary care! 🐾 ⸻

I went in for a complimentary exam for my first dog ever — Wynnie, a Pitbull I recently adopted — and despite Dr. Maria and her vet tech graciously accepting my service certificate past its valid date, the experience felt as cheap as free. From the start, the vet tech never introduced herself or even asked for my name. Instead, she immediately started demanding paperwork, rattling off fees, and pressuring me for on-the-spot decisions — all before explaining what the visit would include. The entire process felt rushed and transactional, with zero warmth or hospitality. When Dr. Maria came in, I hoped things might turn around. Instead, it only got worse. Like her tech, she entered abruptly and began handling my dog without a single word of context or reassurance. Every bit of clarity I got came from me having to interrupt and ask. Isn’t it the vet’s job to explain what they’re doing, what they’re checking for, and why? I asked Dr. Maria a simple question about the medication she prescribed, and she couldn’t even explain it in plain English — just repeated the same medical jargon that was on the label. If you can’t break down basic information for your clients, what good are you as a doctor? By the end, she had the nerve to ask if I had any questions. I did — like why this clinic operates with such a lack of empathy, communication, and care. This was my first vet experience with my first dog, and it was honestly disheartening. If hospitality, patience, and basic professionalism aren’t part of your practice, you shouldn’t be working with animals or the people who love them. Dr. Maria and team — get it together.
