Did not take care of my 9week old puppy correctly. Said what he was experiencing was normal and we shouldn’t worry. A week and a half later it’s gotten worse and I took him somewhere, and he has abnormal lung sounds. VCA was more focused on selling their services than actually looking after my puppy. Very disappointed in them. I wouldn’t go here if you actually care about your pet.

My experience at this vet hospital was horrible, and I left feeling unheard, disrespected, and completely unwelcome. I arrived about 10 minutes late due to being 8 months pregnant with swollen ankles, navigating traffic (25 min drive in holiday traffic), and carrying a 70-lb dog—yet before I even entered the building, I received a voicemail threatening to void my free visit because of the delay.
When I walked in, things only got worse. The vet tech’s tone was nasty, offensive, and passive-aggressive. She insisted the visit wasn’t free unless I provided a coupon, even though the appointment was booked as a free visit through their own website. In the span of five minutes, they attempted twice to void the free visit coupon. That alone was a huge red flag.
In the end, what should have been a free introductory visit turned into a $250 bill—and not even for quality care, but for an environment that felt transactional, cold, and aggressively unwelcoming. Honestly, Tractor Supply would have been more affordable and more compassionate.
I have no idea why we were treated so poorly. Whether it was terrible customer service or something deeper, the experience was unacceptable. No one should feel judged, intimidated, or dismissed when trying to get care for their pet.

Our dog is almost 6 and has moved with us through three different states, so we’ve been to our fair share of vets. VCA Cherry Hill has been the absolute best experience we’ve had. The staff is so friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. We came in for annual vaccines and an exam, and we’ll definitely be returning—so happy to have found this place!

I will not be returning here. I made an appointment because I needed my perfectly healthy dog up to date on vaccinations. The vet was so pushy trying to get me to purchase the health insurance package or whatever it was. Super annoying. My dog is a young pit mix with some anxiety (non reactive) they didn’t even try to examine him!! They sent me home with medications to bring him back after sedating him….absolutely not!!!!! He was just nervous. I just wanted vaccines it shouldn’t be that hard to administer them? But they wanted to do a full exam.. probably to rack up my bill. I ended up taking him to the petco vet clinic in cherry hill we were in out with his vaccines UNSEDATED.
