  This merchant deserves NO stars. I purchased a Samsung refrigerator from Beat Buy in August 2020. By November, it stopped working. They replaced it. I lost $1000 worth of food, of which, I was only reimbursed for one half. The unit that they have replaced it with has a defective ice maker. This ice maker has had to be repaired numerous time (at least 4 times - lost count). I paid $500 for a 5 year warranty. The warranty is up in a few days and GS is ghosting me. It is such a time-consumptive and emotionally draining process to get through to Geek Squad to place a repair order. Despite that we made the call. Although it is the same part, which is known to be defective as to a prior technician, they still had to come out and take a look at the unit. They cancelled the appointment. This delayed the process. When they finally came, they ordered the part. They had to come back in 2 weeks. The first technician cancelled day of. The appointment was rescheduled .That would have been last week. After receiving a confirmation that a tech was coming, by 5pm no one was here. A call to Geek Squad (which takes 20-30 minutes to get through) revealed that the technician "missed the appointment" on his schedule. I ask you, how can this be possible? I get two notifications when I have a zoom meeting and this technician could COMPLETELY miss an appointment! The appointment was rescheduled for today. We called to confirm that we indeed were scheduled for an appointment since no email or text was sent confirming today's appointment. ON THE PHONE YESTERDAY, GEEK SQUAD CONFIRMED TODAYS' APPOINTMENT AND PROMISED THAT A TEXT/EMAIL WILL BE SENT. It never came. Called GS again today. They SEE the appointment but it was NEVER assigned. This is COMPLETELY unacceptable. I just tried to call their corporate office to file a complaint. After I waited 13 minutes and spoke to someone who was supposed to be connecting my call, I got disconnected. I've had it. This is not service. This is not acceptable. After this post and a similar Yelp review, I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. Enough is enough. No one should have to go through what I am going through to have a functioning applicance!
