- AKAlice KielJan 28, 20265.0I was assisted by Joe Dianora of the Geek Squad in Best Buy Brick today...he was FANTASTIC...not only did he resolve my issues but he was very personable, kind and painstakingly patient...He is the VERY BEST and is an absolute credit to the Geek Squad...he deserves a raise!!!!

He is wonderful! And super helpful , Always quick to help and knew exactly what he was doing. Definitely a go to guy!
- NMNick MooreJan 5, 20262.0Called geek squad customer service ask about reinstalling os system for a older mac they said yes a gave appointment for same day which was great. Bad went there a the one guy didnt even look at it amd saidthe hard drive was bad. Took it back home and after 30 min with software i got from a friend was able to fix. Even when i ask them just to try and download software they said no. Only reason not give 1 star when i called geek squad customer service they where some what help.
- DMDanielle MNov 2, 20252.0Positives: - They have a lot of appointments available. - They took me at my scheduled appointment time. Negatives: - If you have an appointment near closing time, they don't have the time or willingness to fully help you. - They encourage you to buy new devices instead of fixing the ones that you currently have. I made an appointment using the Apple Support app because it said that they're a verified Apple retailer. I brought my laptop there, and they took me at my appointment time, but the person behind the desk had no context as to why I was there. They brought my laptop to the back and came back out 5 minutes later asking me for my password. They came back out 5-10 minutes later telling me that they couldn't run the diagnostics. They told me the price for the part repair (~$275) and that I'd be better off using it to buy a new MacBook instead (~$1,500 for a comparable model). Even if I chose to get the repair, they couldn't check me in because they were already closing. I ended up taking my laptop to the actual Apple Store and they were able to do the diagnostics, explain everything to me, and ease my mind.
