The kid working was seriously texting while my dad was asking him about a tv. We bought it either way...but still! I mean...come on bro!

The staff care more about talking amongst themselves than anything else. Especially the cashier's. You might as well walk behind the desk and do it yourself as that would be better customer service then listening to a group of 4 talk and laugh while ignoring your requests for a bag. Whoever the manager is just doesn't care clearly.

I had a disappointing experience with the store manager, Michael Sargent. My brother visited the store to inquire about a product while I joined by video call, as I was unable to be there in person. The product displayed a price from a promotion that had ended the previous day. During that interaction, Michael told both of us that the posted price would be honored and instructed me to come in before 4:00 PM. When I arrived as directed, he was not available. I returned the following day. At that time, Michael initially stated that he had never spoken with either my brother or me. He later said he did remember the interaction but claimed the conversation was different than what had occurred. This exchange took place in front of other customers, which was uncomfortable and unprofessional. While I understand that pricing issues can happen, the situation could have been handled with clear and respectful communication. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Replying to the owner : Thank you for your response. I want to clarify that the price match itself was not the main issue. I understand that pricing errors can happen and that policies must be followed. The real issue was how the situation was handled in store. The associate initially stated that the conversation and interaction had never happened, which made it seem as though I was making the story up. He later said he did remember speaking with us but claimed the conversation was different. This was upsetting and embarrassing, especially since it happened in front of other customers. If the price could not be honored due to policy, I would have understood that if it had been communicated clearly and respectfully. What was most concerning was being made to look dishonest when I had proof of the interaction, including a receipt with his name. I am not disputing policy—my concern is about professionalism, honesty, and respectful communication.

TLDR best buy is terrible and they can't even deliver standard in-stock appliances that they keep in store in under a month (even though the sales person will promise they can). Go anywhere else, even if it's more expensive. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unless you can wait a month(s) for your appliances, I would not recommend ever going to Best Buy for them. I bought a dishwasher, washer, and dryer (gas) in November, all of which were available to pick up at the store within 3 days. But paid for delivery and install on everything. Due to gas install, I had to wait a week for the "pre delivery house inspection" visit to make sure everything was up to code and then delivery and install couldn't be until 11 days after that (18 days since purchase). Well I take my time off work to be home for the pre-deliver house inspection, get a call the night before with the 3 hour window and about 2hr55min through that window today they email me saying no one is coming today after all. I call the number they give me and some call center person tells me I am now at the back of the queue which is another 15 days from today. OH and because that's after my delivery date, they went ahead and changed my delivery date FOR ALL OF THE APPLIANCES to some arbitrary date that is 20 days from today that I never agreed to, even though the washer and dishwasher are electric and could have still easily been delivered and installed on the original delivery date. And of course it's just some robotic call center person who is almost impossible to get in touch with, they just claim there is nothing they can do about it, they just have a little calendar on a screen and no way to escalate it even when tit's best buys fault. They simply do not care how inconvenienced you are, especially once they have your money, and they've designed a system that makes it nearly impossible for recourse. I am now looking at about a month to get the items delivered but who knows how many more times it will change before they actually arrive. I look forward to the automated disingenuous chatgpt bot response they are sure to reply with "Hello, thank you for taking the time to share your experience, we totally understand how you're feeling..." that I am certain will totally rectify this situation
