Horrible customer service and agree with all of the comments in Shaan R and Scott T ‘s previous posts. Unfortunately I attempted to work with the same arrogant, black haired boy and left totally frustrated! He should not be dealing with customers!

Do not go to this place, horrible rude associate don't know her name, go in to ask questions and instantly get attitude about how they can't switch service in store then I was like how about I got to at&t maybe they will help me and she says go ahead.
I've been a customer for 25 years and I get this service. I went down the street to at&t and they switched me over with no redulicous fees and great customer service. I will be telling everyone I know that has Verizon to drop them hopefully they learn there lesson

I went online to schedule an appointment at the 611 Amherst St. (Nashua, NH) location. I was asked for the purpose of my appointment for which I selected “Deactivate” from the drop down choices. We arrived a bit early for the appointment and witnessed some black-haired, baby-faced child wielding his giant mobile device “fanny pack” telling some poor woman that he could not activate her phone - in a condescending, bigger than God tone. We left the store, grabbed a coffee and returned only to be greeted by the same kid. “How can I help you” he asks. I tell him we had an appointment, explained there was a death in the family, and that there were lines we needed deactivated. Before I could finish my sentence, he interrupted and asked for a death certificate. My mother (for whom I was representing - as Verizon loves to take advantage of the elderly to upsell and confuse) stated she owned the account so she should be allowed to discontinue the line. He firmly stated NO - in his larger than Godlike manner - for which I responded, “What if she just wants to deactivate the line even if he was alive?”. He said NO. Then I asked if we could deactivate the cell service on her iPad which she was not even aware she had purchased a year ago and he said NO. I asked why. He said because there might be a balance on it. I said, “can’t you check”?!! He reluctantly opened her account and said no, there was a small balance. My mom asked if she could pay the balance off and close the line. He said NO. Annoyed at this point, I asked if there was anything he COULD do.
Question 1: Why is there an option to schedule an appointment to disconnect a line if you can’t actually do it?
Question 2: When did employees (getting paid penny per hour) decide they ruled the world?
Question 3: When did Verizon begin to allow this type of rude behavior?
Question 4: Why does Verizon have brick and mortar stores to distribute 2inch X 2inch pieces of paper with phone numbers on them because they cannot actually conduct any meaningful business in the store?
