The entire team treated him with such compassion and patience, and they were equally kind and empathetic toward me through a very stressful day. Banner was cared for like he was their own. A special thank you to Lindsey, Vivian, and Kelly for their calm, professional, and truly human approach that made all the difference. We are so grateful for the level of attention and heart they brought to both Banner’s care and ours. - CCCatherine CadoretteOct 15, 20252.0Brought our 10+ year old dog to Caves due to labored breathing. They took him out back for an hour or more. The vet finally met with us and said he was “oxygen dependent” and in heart failure. They gave him a diuretic to remove the fluid from his lungs and around his heart. They wanted to keep him on oxygen and send him to another hospital, but when they brought him to see us, he pranced in with his tail wagging. We took him home AMA, no oxygen needed. The next day our regular vet looked at Caves records, put him on a heart med (which Caves never mentioned) for congestive heart failure and he’s back to his normal, overactive self. I hate to think what would have happened had we left him at Caves.
