Be COMPLETELY leary of a place that has a stack of cards for the Dr. Kavorkian of Pets "Journeys End" and a stack of " I'm sorry your pet passed out back. Screams kick backs and speaks to their demeanor and approach to treatment. The aftercare team out back is a joke and should be ashamed. The emotional . maturity of a door knob some of them. Giggling and outburst laughter as pets are clinging to life. Rude doctors save one or two. Lack of transparency and plan for care. I have videos and will be posting soon on sm

Terrible experience here! Staff was very rude, unprofessional, disrespectful, disgusting people here! Don’t expect to get in unless your animal is dying, gushing blood!! Spent four hours of my dog in immensely terrible pain with not one care there! They told me to leave with no sympathy for my baby! Staff should be fired! Place should be shut down! Do not waste your time or money there! There is better places to bring your babies for better care! I would give this place a negative 10 star review!

The VCA Caves in Concord, NH is 5/5 stars and deserves more. From July ‘25 when I brought my 11.5 year old rescue in for an ultrasound- he’s not the most friendly to strangers but they treated him and ME like we were the only patients. Knowing he can be dog aggressive they had a solid plan for us to wait outside. Fast forward to November & I had to call at 8am on a Saturday morning to ask them what to do. My dog that they saw had passed in his sleep. (Was completely expected) I didn’t know what to do and the one Saturday my vet was closed !! From the moment I called to the second I picked up his ashes- the staff were. Nothing but incredible. They were top notch employees. Their support, knowledge, and kindness was truly remarkable. Not only did my experience with them be nothing but exceptional; giving the circumstances (obviously) but they even made sure to follow up with our primary care vet to let them know of Maartins passing. A call that I didn’t want to make. Can’t thank them enough- you are all angels.

The staff here was extremely rude and pushy during our visit. My sister and I brought in our dog and were informed that she needed surgery. We were given an extremely high quote, so we asked if we could start with antibiotics and take her to a more affordable vet the next day. The nurse told us that was an option, and we chose that plan. However, after she stepped out, the doctor rushed in and claimed—without examining our dog in front of us—that her heart rate had doubled and that she could “die any minute.” I tried to question this but she just got irritated and more aggressive towards us. It felt like an intimidation tactic to pressure us into an expensive surgery. When we explained that the cost was simply too high, the doctor responded with a very dismissive, almost sarcastic, comment suggesting that we should euthanize our dog since we “clearly couldn’t afford” the surgery. It was incredibly hurtful and unprofessional. Thankfully, we trusted our instincts. Our dog made it through the night and the next day (despite the holiday closures) and underwent surgery elsewhere—she is now home and doing great. This clinic did not feel honest or focused on patient care. The atmosphere felt like a money-first operation that preys on people’s fear and love for their pets. THERE IS A REASON WHY THIS PLACE ONLY HAS 3 STARS!!!. Plz plz plz try and avoid the place if possible. This was and extremely traumatic experience. I am giving two stars solely because of nurse Leah, who was the only staff member who treated us with genuine kindness and showed true concern for our dog’s well-being.
