I brought my dog here several times throughout his life for various emergencies, he also had a surgery done recently that he unfortunately didnt recover well from and had to be euthanized at another emergency vet. But the staff there is nothing short of incredible, they are so caring and professional, and are willing to go above and beyond to answer any questions you have, at any time of day or night. I wouldn't reccomend anywhere else to take your pet during an emergency. Thank you for everything you guys do, and thank you for the condolence card, it means more than you know!

I’ve had to visit this emergency animal hospital several times and in stressful situations, when your regular vet is not available they have been extremely great taking care of my babies.
The veterinarians and staff are incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and patient. They take the time to explain everything clearly, answer all of my questions, and make sure I feel comfortable with the treatment plan. Most importantly, they treat my pets with genuine kindness and care, which means everything during an emergency.

On January 2nd I showed up to the vet early that Friday morning because my boy Kobe was complete lethargic, gums were white, he could barely walk. I got my boy out the car to take him into just be told “it’s not an emergency we can’t take him” without even checking him out taking him into a room. I’m no vet or doctor but to go to an emergency vet assuming we’d be accepted with help and comfort but that was far from the case. We got turned away and were told where else to go. Sad to say that same day what they considered “not an emergency” was indeed an emergency and my boy Kobe passed away that same day at 3:05. My boy Kobe’s liver was failing, his red and white blood cells were out of whack, and he was anemic. Not knowing if that time could’ve made a difference in his life but as an emergency vet clinic you should never turn any animal away just because you think it’s “not an emergency”. Do not recommend this place and will never go back here with my animals. Do better next time because you failed us sadly.

I recently had to make an emergency visit to VCA Midwest at about midnight on January 5th.
Unfortunately, my dog had bloat and I did not know it until I made it to the vet. I was a mess, inconsolable and hysterical. She is my baby, and always will be.
I had to make the difficult decision to put my dog down. The staff was absolutely AMAZING and so caring and handled my emotional upheaval SO WELL. I was not wanting to put her down, not understanding that was the best choice for my dog (she was 13 with cancer all in her body.)
It took 2 different vets to explain to me that my dog had already been through a lot (5 surgeries) and they showed me that the kindest choice would be to euthanize her. She had been through enough and any more surgery and recovery would and unkind way to spend the last year or two of her life.
So, THANK YOU to everyone that was there that night, thank you for being so gentle and professional with me during the most difficult time of my life. Thank you all for you caring, you all rock and are so amazing at what you do!! I got 3 paw prints in the mail and I got to feed my dog tons of chocolate before euthanasia and she loved it. I got to hold her as she passed and I am so grateful. Thank you so so so much for helping make that choice!! My dog did not deserve to spend the last year of her life suffering with cancer spreading everywhere and trying to recover from another surgery. Thank you for helping me see that🩷

Absolutely worst service I could imagine and I am happy my dog did not end up in their care. This past Friday, I rushed my dog here to be seen because he was visibly not well and was visibly very weak. I got my dog to walk into this "emergency" vet hospital and immediately was denied at the entry by the front desk lady. She stated "we want to close at 12 so we are only taking emergencies, got to Urgent Pet care in Papillion." Which was a 10 minute drive that I knew my dog was limited on his time. She denied him care without even hearing me out and I guarantee if you watch the cameras, you will see that is exactly what happened. My dog ended up dying at Urgent Pet Care due to liver failure, which if I am correct is an emergency. This place is a joke and the worst front desk staff I have ever met. Do not take your animals here if you care about them. I already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and provided them all of the proof and receipts.
