Manager AJ along with, Shawn and James worked diligently to determined it was the New Google Messages App that was the issue. Samsung Messages App was made the default, now I'm getting sound and message alerts again. Some of the features of the Google app were nice but it was not the total package for me. Great job Verizon Tech team!
