Very disappointed in the experience my 76 yr old mother had when she visited this store alone to get help because her old phone stopped working. She walked out of the store thinking she got $1000 off a $1200 phone and that the $390 cash she paid at the store was to pay off the rest of the phone and the taxes. She also thought she got a free trial of internet for 2 months and if she kept the Internet it would be just $60 per month AND she would get a free TV after 6 months. Then she gets her Verizon bill and it's $153 more than last month!! $60 for internet, $40 for upgrade fee, $19 for mobile protection and I still can't figure out what else. She didn't get a receipt at the store but I was able to find out what most of the $390 was for. $110 in taxes $ 40 phone set up fee $ 40 internet set up fee $ 46 phone case $ 56 screen protector $ 35 lens protector $ 36 power cord All the while she had the understanding that they gave her $1000 off the phone and she just had to pay the difference. Now she's paying for a cell phone for 3 years. And they charged her for the Internet even though they told her the first two months were free. What a racket!! And shame on them for taking advantage of an elderly woman who clearly did not understand what they were doing! She left there thinking that her new phone was paid for and that the accessories were complimentary because they told her it was "included with the phone". I am so frustrated and disappointed.

Please do not fall for their “promo” of a $100 credit for each additional line added to your account. My husband and I fell for this scam last June and we have been trying to get this promo credited to our account for months with no resolution. Last June, we added two lines to our account with the promise that we’d receive a $100 promo credit for each of these lines that we opened. Come August 5th, only one of the two $100 credits came off of our bill. We’ve been in and out of the store multiple times since then asking about the additional $100 we were supposed to receive, and I have tried to communicate via text with the salesman Nate and we just keep getting gaslit into thinking it’ll be taken care of, yet nothing is getting done. Nate continues to tell us he will reach out to his manager to get the promo added, but each month my bill comes out and it’s never on there. On Monday I sent Nate a text asking for a manager’s contact information so that I can get this resolved. It’s now Thursday evening, and that text has gone unanswered. I thought it was a bit shady last summer when I asked to have this promo in writing and Nate said no. Now I’m wishing I would’ve trusted my gut and returned everything. We’ve been very patient and respectful about this, but this is getting ridiculous. Four billing cycles have now gone through and the full promo that we were promised has not been honored. I’d love for a manager to reach out to me and make this right. Verizon won’t do anything about it because this isn’t an actual Verizon store, just an authorized dealer. Please, save yourselves the time, money, and headache and make the extra drive to Omaha or Lincoln and go to a real Verizon store for new phone purchases.
