    After being on the phone with Verizon for several hours, we finally went in the store and BK was able to help us! What the help desk took hours to do he figured it out immediately. Go in the store. You get people who care.

    They promised me store credits when I switched to Verizon on my 1st bill. Nothing was applied. Bill higher than what they told me in the store. Tried calling the store but no one picks up and it goes to the automated system. Finally got hold of a human, they said they’re not allowed to transfer call to the store. Unfortunately this store is far from my house but I guess I just have to go there and demand they honor their promise.

    Look for another store and don’t waste your time here. They made fools of us. After discovering that we had been paying double what we should have been charged for several months, we went to this store on December 31, 2025. We waited an hour and a half to be helped. When we were finally seen, the representative checked our account and confirmed that something was wrong. He told us we needed to speak with the business account manager and scheduled an appointment for January 2, 2026, at a specific time, to talk to the person responsible. On the scheduled date and time, we returned to the store, only to find out that our appointment did not exist. There was no record of it, and the employee who helped us previously was not there. We were then assisted by two different employees at the same time, neither of whom knew what had happened. They simply said that appointments are not actually scheduled, and that we should resolve everything by phone. They also told us that the manager does not stay at any specific store and that they couldn’t do anything to help us. In short: the first employee told us to come back another day with a scheduled appointment. During the second visit, we were made to feel like complete idiots. We were told everything must be done online. This store apparently has no manager, and the employees clearly don’t know what they are doing. All they know how to say is: “It’s a new year, everything has changed. The manager is not here. The manager doesn’t stay in the store. We can’t do anything.”

    Once again, a terrible customer service experience at this store. Self described “store manager” B.K. (He wouldn’t give his name or last name) was rude and obviously didn’t want to be at work or just doesn't like his job. Either way, he was rude, not knowledgeable and far less than helpful. Additionally, he actually rolled his eyes at us. We promptly left this location and went to the Monroe location and received 1000% better customer service and far better results from John Swiatek. John was an absolute professional, very knowledgeable and obviously loved his job. Thank you John for your help and support. If anyone from Verizon corporate reads this, you have a real problem at the Matthews location with Mr. “B.K.” He’s a terrible representative for your company and likely chases more customers away than he helps or retains.

    The manager, BK is very unprofessional and a jerk and needs a new career where he doesn’t have to deal with people. He literally rolled his eyes to our question and when we responded to his unprofessional attitude we were ask to leave with a new phone that we can’t get into. For the sake of your business you should get rid of this person, he is giving your company a bad name. **UPDATE to this post. BK still gets 1 star actually less than 1 if that were an option. BK might want to go back to manager school because your co-worker down the street, the Monroe location got done what you said couldn’t be done…Verizon, please explain to me how a manager at one of your stores tells me something can NOT be done, yet another manager at another store 8 miles up the road can get it done. BK seems to be inadequate all the way around.
